Vi täcker alla de stora höjdpunkterna som Lima har att erbjuda från pre-Incan historia och kolonial arkitektur till prisbelönt gastronomi och en privat guidad tur till Limas största attraktion, Larco Museum. Vårt första stopp på den historiska stadsdelen av vår turné. Här känner vi igen en av Perus mest kända befriare, Jose de San Martin.
Kyrkan och klostret tillkännagav också kyrkan och klostret till UNESCOs världsarvslista 1991. Platsen innehåller ett världsberömt bibliotek med cirka 25 000 antika texter och i katakomberna under det uppskattas att detsamma Antalet personer lades för att vila. Idag kan du utforska de en gång gömda passagerna och observera de unikt visade resterna av första Limeños.
Här kommer vi att spendera några minuter i hjärtat av Lima. Plaza de Armas är hem till presidentpalatset, Arch Bishops palats, katedral och kommunala byggnader och kan ofta vara en livlig plats fylld av människor och olika former av underhållning.
Byggd ovanpå en pyramid från sjunde århundradet, är detta vice-kungliga herrgård en plats att se med sin vackert omhändertagna trädgårdar; du kommer att hitta dig själv att snappa bilder av grunderna så mycket som relikerna inuti. Del av turen består av fängslande historia, en antikvitetsaffär på 45 000 stycken och en spännande erotisk samling (det här rummet kan utelämnas om man reser med yngre barn). Efteråt kommer vi att ha tid att njuta av en utsökt lunch omgiven av färgglada trädgårdar på museets cafés uteplats.
Ett kort stopp för att observera Lima mest kända fasta pyramid som används som en ceremoniell plats för Lima-kulturen under åren 200-700 e.Kr. En fullständig rundtur på platsen är inte upptagen, endast observerad från utsidan.
En konstnärlig park belägen vid strandpromenaden i Miraflores. Titta på para-svängarna som seglar över huvudet och lokala unga par promenader längs vägarna tillägnad älskare överallt. Ett bra ställe att snapa ett snabbt foto av dig och en älskad!
Se den mer moderna sidan av Lima med havsutsikt och vackra parker. Ingår i denna del av turnén stannar vid Huaca Pucllana och Parque de Amor (Love Park.)
Sitter på ungefär 251 meter över havet, får du en underbar utsikt över Stilla havet, Chorrillos Bay och Shanty-städerna nedan. Ofta förbises på andra turer, detta kan vara höjdpunkten av vårt!

We booked this tour for a long layover in Lima and it exceeded our expectations! Our guide Edgar was not only very knowledgeable, he made the tour fun. George, our driver, added to the fun while safely navigating the traffic and avoiding jams. Among our favorite sites were the church and catacombs, the Museo Larco (beautiful grounds and excellent food), and “lovers park” with its Gaudi-inspired wall. We highly recommend this tour.

This tour was a perfect way to spend a long layover in Lima. We were picked up at the airport by our guide Edgar and driver George. Edgar answered all our many questions, providing insightful and fun facts about the city and the sites. Highlights for us were the Basilica and Convent of San Francisco with its catacombs and the Museo Larco, where we had a delicious lunch. George was both a friendly and great driver, safely navigating the traffic and avoiding jams. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone who has a day to spend in Lima.
