Privata Florence och David eller Uffizi från La Spezia

Our driver Daniele was wonderful!! He was timely and personable. Ingrid is very soft spoken and was difficult to hear even with head sets. She was very low energy and was unwilling to change direction to meet the desires of our group. It was a private tour for my family only and we wanted to do some shopping and Ingrid walked ahead without really noticing whether we were with her or not. She was helpful is helping us secure tickets to the Accademia Galleria but I do not recommend her for a tour.

We had great communication before the cruise and they were there with a sign with our name on it right as we got off the cruise ship. The last time we went to Florence, we took a tour from the cruise ship. What a difference having a private tour made, not booked from a cruise ship. We were a group of 8 individuals, and the extra time, close dropping off and picking up, and the more information were fabulous. I love the more personal attention. In looking at the cost, I actually think it might have cost less than booking through a cruise ship.

Local PRIVATE tour GUIDE did NOT show up and ruined the day for myself, my daughter and the 14,12, 10 and 8 year old grandchildren. We were so excited to let them experience Florence. All studied Renaissance period in school and we missed Uffizi Museum, Statue of David, The Baptistry, The Duomo, Piti Palace, Ponte Vecchio and all the other MUST sees in Florence. waited 1 hour and then shuttled back to CRUISE SHIP. No other tours available.

We were picked up early by Marco, an excellent driver, who ascertained that we were punctual through the day. With an octogenarian grandfather in our group the private car worked extremely well. Marzia, our superlative guide, modified the itinerary so that grandpa could ride to almost every site, and walk little. She was very thoughtful and even went out of her way to go to the Accademia staff and request that grandpa be allowed to sit while awaiting his entry. Pre booking the Accademia ticket is extremely important as lines are very long otherwise. We were guided by the travel agent to book tickets electronically ahead of time. We had the immense pleasure of visiting unplanned, the Santa Croce church and the San Miniata church and seeing the tombs of several including Michelangelo in the former. Marzia was very knowledgeable and truly one of the best guides we have met in our many years of travel. We were able to be back on the ship well in time with wonderful memories. Money well spent when one wants to spend on building memories of experiences!

Great communications with this tour company in preparation for our cruise ship stop in La Spezia terminal. We had to coordinate museum tickets which needed to be purchased prior to our arrival and for a specific entrance timeframe. The timing of our ship arrival, drive, and museum entrance worked out perfectly. Matteo was our driver and an excellent host for the 1.5 hour drive each way. He drove safely, stopped for restroom breaks as needed, and even got permission to deviate from the normal return route to take us to an overlook square with the best panoramic view of Florence, Piazzale Michelangelo. Giulia was our tour guide within Florence and the museum. She was very knowledgeable on everything Florence and had the tough job of keeping us all on track to view as much of the museum and Florence as possible, and still have some personal time to shop and have lunch before handing us back over to Matteo for the drive back. Only minor complaint I have was the seat configuration in the van. It’s made to be reconfigurable, but the seats were left in a position where it was not as comfortable as it could have been for eight passengers. Overall, it was an excellent private tour, and transportation for a cruise ship stop. I would not hesitate to book with this tour company again.
