Privat Whale Watching Tour i Puerto Vallarta

My family had a superb experience with Thalia on our whale watching trip last week. Expectations were exceeded by far. Thalia’s scientific knowledge and enthusiasm for marine biology are evident and she answers all questions. Her pilot, Angel, is skillful and I always felt at ease on the boat. We will return next season for sure!! Thanks for all you do Thalia and Angel.

The crew of 3 were excellent, knowledgeable and entertaining. We found whales, they knew their stuff and were cognizant of not encroaching like some other tours were doing. We loved that it was only 12 people on board. We’ll be going again on this tour/boat next year. Thank you for being such great hosts!!!

We had the most wonderful experience with Vallarta Natours! Our family of 5 decided to book a private tour, and it felt magical. Having a marine biologist as our guide felt like a gift. We saw SO MANY whales and various whale behaviors. At one point, I actually started crying. It was one of those “I can’t believe I’m alive right now” moments. Of course, my pre-teen was embarrassed. They provided a delicious lunch for our family and were able to accommodate our vegetarian diet. The boat was incredible and had a top viewing deck which was absolutely incredible. This is certainly an experience I’ll never forget.

We were greeted by staff who directed us to our boat. The tour started right on time, right after the orientation training. We, my husband and I, were amazed at how quickly we saw the whales; and the staff were sure to tell us about their habits, as the momma with her calf, the teenagers showing off trying to attract females (what else is new -lol). We were lucky enough to see the large males breach a couple of different times. When I spotted a different tour boat filled with what looked like 20 or 30 people, I was very pleased about the size of our boat and our number of visitors - only 9! The lunch was fine and the bottled water was offered sufficiently.

Excellent small group tour. You can move around the boat for different views. Knowledgeable staff discusses whales and habits during the trip. Convenient potty on boat, a submarine sandwich and drink on the way back to marina i provided. Highly recommended. We have been twice with Natours and would go again.

This was the second time my boyfriend and I went with Thalia. She is amazing and knows a lot about whales. This time we took two other couples with us and they loved it. Saw adult whales and babies. This is only whale tour I will go on - have been on another one in PV in the past. No comparison.

This was awesome! Our guide, Thalia was great, she is very knowledgeable and a steward of the ocean. This company operates in an ethical manner to respect the whales and their environment. I would recommend this company and tour and hope to be able to go again.

Thalia and the captain did an amazing job guiding us, and God provided some amazing opportunities to see whales during the tour. Thalia is a Marine Biologist who seems to have extensively studied whales and knows their behavior. We saw a lot of whale activity along the shore but the most remarkable time was going farther out where we had a large whale breach about 5 times in a row. Thalia was able to predict and call out when the whale was about to breach so we could get remarkable footage. It was nice that they also provided sandwiches, drinks (non-alcoholic) and snacks.

We saw an incredible 21 whales on our private tour and Thalia was an incredibly informative and caring guide. She taught my kids (8 and 10) about the whales and how to see them safely and respectfully. We had a great day on the water with Thalia and Angel - always seeking and teaching and I couldn’t recommend them any more highly. Stop your search and book this boat / tour. If there were more stars I’d give them.
