Privat vin och chokladprovning i Paris

Luis Zarate was our personal wine teacher for the evening. He taught us about the different colors, smells, and tastes of the wine. It wasn’t just taste the wine. We were able to figure out the year of the wine based on the color. We discussed taste and smell in detail. It really opened my eyes on how wines are analyzed. Luis taught us so much and he was such good company. I was trying to work on my French so he helped me with that also lol. We highly recommend this company and Luis.

The host taught us how to savor the true flavor of wine. She explained how to swirl the wine to understand each wine's depth, and body as it slowly falls down the glass, how to see the wine's "legs," and how to release each wine's aroma. I was never a wine drinker prior to this class because I never understood how to appreciate wine. I certainly do now. And.....the class was just plain fun.

<p>This tour was nice, the chocolate is out of this world. I wasn't particularly happy with the sweet wine with sweet chocolate. But it was an intimate experience and a lot of information. I thought it was a bit pricy as well in relative terms to other tastings we have experienced.</p>

<p>Our experience at La Cave du Duron with Myriame was amazing! The wine was superb, the chocolate samples decadent, and Myriame's knowledge and expertise was exceptional. I would definitely recommend this to any wine and chocolate lover. Our encounter was made all the more special since it was just my daughter and myself who booked this small group.</p>
