De nio heliga kanonerna på Hue Imperial Citadel är en uppsättning massiva bronskanoner som symboliserar Nguyendynastins styrka och enhet. Gjutna 1803, dessa intrikat dekorerade kanoner anses vara andliga skatter och visas som historiska artefakter, inte vapen.
Ngo Mon-porten, även känd som Noon Gate, är den majestätiska huvudingången till Hue Imperial Citadel och en symbol för Nguyendynastins arkitektur. Porten byggdes 1833 och har fem ingångar, med den centrala passagen reserverad exklusivt för kejsaren. Dess övre paviljong, känd som "Lau Ngu Phung" (Paviljongen av fem Phoenixes), fungerade som en plattform för kungliga ceremonier och offentliga tal.
Det thailändska Hoapalatset i Hue-kejserliga citadellet är ett mästerverk i Nguyendynastins arkitektur, som symboliserar kunglig makt och harmoni. Byggd 1805, fungerade den som ceremonisal för viktiga händelser som kröningar och kungliga möten. Dess utsmyckade interiör, med intrikata träsniderier och gyllene lack, återspeglar storheten i det kejserliga Vietnam.
To Mieu-templet i Hue-kejserliga citadellet är en helig plats tillägnad dyrkan av Nguyendynastins kejsare. Our leader had an incredible knowledge of the history of Hue. The location was fairly crowded, but we were able to walk through and get a great trip there

Great trip with an excellent guide. Very interesting (and very hot! ) 3hour trip. Iur guide’s english was excellent. Very nice guy.
We have done the special version on the motorbikes and it was amazing. I would not be able to drive on my own and it was great and safe for my 9 years old son to experience the countryside on the motorbike with responsible driver. We visited animal fighting arena, American bunkers, all tombs and the pagoda. Our driver took us on some small village roads and floating bridge which was amazing.
Ms. Ha was amazing with my 9yo son, very patiently and carefully explaining things to him to make sure he is interested and understands. They had great time collecting cicada shells from the trees too ;)
The tour was excellent & visited amazing sights, we would like to highly recommend our tour guide Ha who was exceptionally informative & knowledgeable. We were delighted to be in Hue which has great history & modern life also

Absolutely amazing! Mr Hua (the guide) was so flexible, kind and knowledgeable. He even took a lot of pictures of me and as a solo traveler this is precious. If you go to hue don’t miss this opportunity to learn more about this historic site.
We are on a 24 day OAT tour of all of Vietnam We tour the citadel (Forbidden Purple City). This palace is somewhat like the Forbidden City in Beijing China but in no way as crowded with tourists (especially those pushing and yelling XXXXXX tourists). Again, this structure was once the private 3 miles by 3 Mile fortified wall city reserved for the emperor and family. The compound is MASSIVE (much bigger than the Forbidden City in Beijing China). THIS IS A MUST SEE location for anyone visiting Vietnam, but make sure you come here with a guide as just roaming around the grounds on your own, you will NOT relate well to all the history here. Our guide note if you wanted to visit all the buildings within the walled citadel it would take you 3 days of exploring. There is a massive water Moat around the 3X3 mile complex, and within its design was to be able to fend off invaders, and especially invaders at the time that had the ultimate weapon = Elephants!!!!
