Gå in i den antika världen av Wessex när du ger dig ut på ditt livs historiska resa. Din vänliga chaufför/guide hämtar dig direkt från ditt hotell på morgonen och håller dig underhållen när du kommer före de stora bussturerna vid Stonehenge. Lås upp hemligheterna bakom världens mest kända stencirkel med din expertguide. På eftermiddagen tar vi dig till den enda Unescos världsarvsstad i landet, med möjlighet att utforska The Roman Baths Museum; tillägnad den keltisk-romanska gudinnan Sulis Minerva. Du har sedan tid att utforska denna vackra stad och äta lunch i stadens centrum, innan din panoramatur i Bath för att se fantastisk georgisk arkitektur - The Royal Crescent och The Circus. På vägen tillbaka till London kommer vi att köra genom den engelska landsbygden, se de böljande kullarna i The Cotswolds och lära oss om hur den medeltida ullhandeln var det bankande hjärtat i Englands ekonomi. Du kan sedan välja att se antingen Castle Combe eller Lacock.

På morgonen åker vi till Stonehenge och anländer före de stora turnégrupperna så att upplevelsen är mer minnesvärd och speciell. Våra guider vet allt som finns att veta om Stonehenge och deras passion kommer att lägga till din övergripande upplevelse.
På eftermiddagen besöker vi det magnifika romerska badmuseet; Det enda stället i England där man kan se naturligt termiskt vatten längs ett romerskt tempel. Staden var en gång kallad Aqaue Sulis, och delar både romerska och keltiska ursprung. Detta magnifika museum kommer att göra din käke droppe när du ser hur väl hålls 2000 år gammal golv ser idag. Bortsett från templet erbjuder Bath magnifika butiker och arkitektur från 1800-talet när den helt återuppfinde sig som en spa stad. Queen Square, Circus och Royal Crescent är bara några av John Woods magnifika designer. Din guide kommer att fascinera dig med historier från romerskt ursprung till georgisk glamour och få berättelsen om Bath att komma till liv!
På vägen tillbaka till London kommer du att kunna beundra några av Englands vackraste landskap som vi tar ett steg tillbaka till 18th Century England. Din guide kommer att upplysa dig om vad som en gång var den mest lukrativa handeln i Europa; Cotswoldull. Byar som Castle Combe trivdes på ullindustrin och har skapat en perfekt liten by med fantastiska vävstolar och en kyrka. Om du gillar landvandringar, tala med din guide och du kan också gå på en allmän gångväg för att få en sann upplevelse av landsbygden England.
Du har ett val på denna turné att besöka Castle Combe OR Lacock Abbey. Lacock Village är mycket större än Castle Combe och kanske inte så pittoreskt, men det är ett måste att se för Harry Potter Fans som letar efter filmer i de episka filmerna!

Om ditt hotell/boende är i East London (E1 Postnummer), hämtar vi dig vid ditt boende kl 07:00 eller 07:15. Vi avslutar sedan turen på tunnelbanestationen Gloucester Road för att maximera din sightseeingtid på turen, istället för att spendera den med att köra genom London. Vi kommer att kontakta dig efter en bokning är gjord för att komma överens om en tidigare avgångstid för att se till att turen går smidigt så att du kommer till Stonehenge i tid:)

Our tour was excellent in every way. Christian was affable, efficient and very knowledgeable. We particularly appreciated the historical perspective he provided. We highly recommend this tour.
Best pick for traveling the British countryside! Our lovely guide Peter Iles made this trip the most enjoyable part of our time in London. His easy manner and deep command of the history of the region made for a very enriching experience. He explains Stonehenge as if a scholar and had an infectious enthusiasm for explaining the theories behind this monument. He made it feel like even though this monument is in Britain, it represents the ancient wisdom that is certainly in all our ancestors pasts. I wish we had more time here to arrange other trips with Peter as our guide!
Peter’s vast and in depth knowledge of the history of the region made for a very enriching experience - I cannot recommend highly enough!

Our guide Christian M. was amazing! So incredibly informed/educated about the area and sites. A lot of fantastic history education mixed with some great "dad" jokes. He went out of his way to be sure we had a fantastic day and part of that was really knowing his stuff and being incredibly organized. Castle Combe is not to be missed!

Absolutely the BEST tour we've ever been on! Oz is not just a tour guide but a friend and great wealth of knowledge! We had two amazing day trips with Oz as our tour guide. He made each tour specific to our likes. We even stopped for coffee on the way to Stonehenge because of that stop he checked the Google Maps and it showed an accident on 303 hwy. Which we took a detour, but the bigger busses always stay on the path despite accidents on the roadways, We got to Stonehenge before everyone else and had it all to ourselves for 15 mins which is unheard of! He walked us through talking about the site and answering all our questions good, bad and the ugly. . Even when we went to Bath he already had an idea we wanted a good steak and ale pie, he had looked it up the night before and suggested The Raven which was one of the best pies and pints we had. I know it seems kinda pricy BUT TRUST ME IT IS WORTH EVERY PENNY! The one one experience is so worth it! If you were to splurge on a once in a lifetime trip I would pick this company hands down! By the time this ended we were planning another trip via this amazing company. He say's he has people who specialize in different locations. We are now looking to book with them for Wales, S. England and N. England going into Scotland. We also hired Tailored Tours to help us get from our hotel to Fullers Brewery > OVO Wembley for a concert > and Pickup from OVO to our hotel. Richard was our driver that day and what a wonderful man who made our experience so easy. Which we were worried about coming to an unknown country and trying to figure out concert logistics.

We had an amazing private tour with Oz. Super flexible with our time in every location. Very impressed with his history knowledge. Would recommend to anyone wanting to visit these locations, tour was a long day but didn’t feel long and was my kids favorite day in London!
