Booked privately with Shihaigrouptours with our super great local guide Cherry who introduced us to a wonderful morning through the stilt villages Kompong Pluk ...Houses and Stilts..& Mangrove Forrest...with great detail and historical background as well as today's social and ecological changes the life and survival of the people here on the water...the floating villages with their different facets. In a short time we have learned so much about the country and history. Very interesting... I can only recommend. Thank you Cherry
Very nice tour guided by CHERRY, a very nice and informative local tour guide, who guided my sister and me through those very interesting sites, like the very tall stilt houses of the floating village of Kampung Phluk at the shores of the magnificent lake Tonlé Sap, the largest in South East Asia, and like the very nice flooded forest there as well. You won't regret taking this tour.

Chenda is amazing guide! Our guide, Chenda, is very service-minded. They were very kind, taking pictures and telling me where the scenery was. They talk about Cambodia a lot during the tour. In Kampong Pluck village, you can feel the rustic life of Cambodia. I went on this tour in the dry season and it was a very valuable experience to see a super raised house that you don't normally see.
Half Day we’ll spent ! We enjoyed our tour to floating city , it was a different Sid elf Siem Reap, other than temple. Chenda was great , knowledge, kind , great English and take great pictures also. Highly recommended!
On this tour, we visited the floating village and stopped at an island(?) village where we were able to interact with locals and children and really see what daily life is like in a place completely removed from government support. We were able to donate to a small school that taught children English there too. We also got to do a small 2-person canoe-style boat tour through the mangrove forest for an extra $5pp, but it was absolutely worth it and would recommend to anyone going on this trip. Our guide, Chenda, blew me away at the level of information and service he provided for the tour guests. This tour has certainly been the highlight of my SEA trip!
I booked the tour on klook website. The tour is awesome and the bus is very comfortable. The most important thing is Chenda is the BEST tour guide I have ever met in Cambodia. He told us lots of information and history about Cambodia. His photo-taking skill is also incredible. The lake is beautiful with country style and you can pay five dollars to take small boats. Great experience. 我是在Klook 上訂購行程的，行程本身安排的很好，浮村位在遠離市區的地方有小巴帶著去比較方便。而且導遊Chenda 非常敬責，一路上對柬埔寨的歷史和生活知識都解釋的很清楚。在船餐廳上吃的午餐也很美味，可以自費一個人五美金搭乘當地人划的小船，也是不錯的體驗。
Brilliant tour. Great to see how the locals live in the floating village. Good fun meeting the local school kids. Tried the crocodile dish at the restaurant on the open lake it was delicious. Tour guide Kim was brilliant. Very friendly and knowledgable. I would highly recommend this tour. Siem Reap Shuttle are a great company
After spending an age looking at the different trips available and being close concerned about being ripped off, we opted for a tour with Siem Reap Shuttle. We only booked late afternoon of the day before the trip via Klook.com and the whole process including the trip could not have been better. We were picked up from our hotel on time and taken to the boat and to see the ‘floating’ village. In reality the buildings are on stilts and the fact that the water was very low meant that you can see much more of everyday life and how the villagers live. Our guide Chandra was excellent, hugely knowledgeable and very likeable which made the trip all the better. If you have any doubts about which trip to go on I would absolutely recommend this tour and Chandra. 👍🏻👍🏻
