Our private group of 3 had an excellent day in Sintra with Hugo! We visited Peña Palace. Hugo is so knowledgeable about Portuguese history and the history behind these sites. Hugo was extremely friendly and flexible as well. He accommodated our needs and requests and made the day flow seamlessly. I can’t recommend seeing Sintra with Hugo enough because he knows exactly how to make the trip smooth and fulfilling without feeling rushed. I believe we saw as much as we could in our given timeframe. Hugo was such an enjoyable tour guide. He also took so many great photos with us and for us. Thank you Hugo!!
This was a great tour led by a wonderful tour guide. Nothing negative at all to report -- the tour guide had a perfect command of English, was personable, and was very attentive to my son's food allergies and my mom's mobility issues. We also saw the essentials of Lisbon and never felt rushed. And he introduced us to those iconic pastries! Thanks for a wonderful experience !!!
Claudia was an amazing guide, helping us navigate the streets of Lisbon, providing historical information which made the day so much more enjoyable. Spend the extra money and get a guide to take you around the city, it’s well worth the cost,
This was a great way to see the entire city of Lisbon. Our guide, Carlos, timed our visits to avoid crowds. He was very knowledgeable - more like a teacher than a guide. Lunch was not included, but Carlos suggested a restaurant with a typical Portugese menu. He then treated us to the famous Pastel de Belem - the originators of the pastel de nata, a popular custard tart.
This was our first time to Lisbon and it is an incredible city. Our guide told us as soon as he picked us up that most everything was closed on Mondays and he was surprised we were able to book our tour for that day. We enjoyed driving around and seeing sights but wish we could’ve gone in to the monuments rather than just view from outside. Even the restaurant he chose for lunch was closed that day too. We made the most of it and had a good time, but definitely could have been improved by seeing more. I wish someone would have told me, as no one mentioned it. We would’ve been happy to switch to a different day had we known.
We had a fantastic family time during our private day visit of Lisbon. Kudos to our guide, Eduardo Silveira. Euduardo is perfectly fluent in Englis, he is very interesting taking the time to explain the historical and cultural background of each site while being also very funny and entertaining. He also had great culinary recommendations ! He made sure all the family had a perfect day.
My husband won this private tour at the game show ‘The Price is Right’. It’s absolutely the best private tour ever. Eduardo captured the essence of the company’s name Heart & Soul. His intriguing storytelling skills of Portugal’s dynamic historic social & cultural journey from the beginning to present was capturing. We ate traditional Portuguese bites & drinks. It was an incredible experience that made us feel embraced by the Lisbon charm & understand why it’s a major tourist attraction. Eduardo is a perfect Lisbon tourist ambassador.
Fantastic tour of Sintra, Cascais and Cabo da Roca. Hugo our guide was very knowledgeable and really made the visit memorable. He explained the subtleties of Pena palace very well and made the whole visit enjoyable. He was also able to give a good overview of the Quinta de regalia and provided good historical context of Cascais and Cabo da Roca. In addition, Hugo provided great tips for our trip to Porto!
Excellent Guided Tour in Lisbon, Eduardo was a fluent English speaking guy, nice intelligent and empathetic, deep knowledge of Lisbon and Portuguese culture and history. But never eager to tell everything he knew -just a perfect guide- highly recommended
Had a fantastic private tour from Eduardo. We have 2 dogs and they were allowed. Eduardo has arranged everything to perfection also for the dogs. Nothing is too crazy. he has a lot of knowledge of the history of Lisbon and speaks excellent English. Where the dogs did not enter, he took over the care of the dogs from us and told us in advance what to do and expect. Really great. Lots of laughter with him. We booked another tour with Heart & Soul the next day and it was another fantastic day in and around Sintra. We were picked up both days and brought back to camping lisboa. If you want a great tour of lissabon and Sintra then Heart & Soul is highly recommended.
