The trip started with the driver not being told correctly which trip we had booked. He thought it was a trip to Georgetown - the car was low and visibility was poor if you are a bit tall. Fortunately, our driver was ready to change and we got on the right trip. He drove well and spoke good English. There is too little content in the trip for it to be a full-day trip. The spice garden and tropical farm were nice - the rest was uninteresting, but the car trip through the mountains was nice.
This was an amazing tour, the views were breathtaking and the people that I had the pleasure to meet along the way were so friendly and welcoming. I got to experience the Malaysian culture in a way I never could have on my own.
When the tour operator did not show up, I called and they said that the number provoded by Viator was not good for any tours
Our guide was sent the wrong itinerary. However, this was no problem for him. He said what would you like to see and I will do this for you. I explained the itinerary and he did it. He was a very friendly guide and I honestly couldn’t fault him. He even stayed with my mum when she couldn’t do part of the tour and kept her company sharing stories. Muhammad is a great asset to the tourism industry in Penang. My favourite part of the tour was the fruit farm. The guide for this was fantastic with a great personality.
