HBO-serien Tjernobyl filmades i en Vilnius, ett av sovrummen - Fabijoniškės. Under turnén kommer du att besöka Fabijoniskes såväl som andra filmplatser och lära dig om sovjets liv och Tjernobyl-katastrofen. Staden Pripyat ('fredlig atom'), som skapades i slutet av sextiotalet för att betjäna anläggningen, byggdes under några decennier som symbolen för en vänskap mellan sovjeternas nationer. De flesta sovjetrepubliker byggde sina stadsdelar då. Det är därför serien togs i Vilnius kvarter Fabijoniskes som fungerade som ett exempel på Pripyat. Ett av de mest besökta museerna i Litauen är ett faktiskt KGB-fängelse och har fortfarande sina KGB-celler och torturkamrar intakt. De ursprungliga möblerna där fångar hölls användes för att skjuta serien. Vi avslutar vår turné i KGB-byggnaden, så att du kan besöka den på egen hand.

Domas our guide was great, picked us up on time, nice vehicle and safe driver. He is very knowledgeable about the filming of the Chernobyl tv show, but also Lithuanian history. We learned so much. He also accompanied us for part of or visit to the Museum of Occupation and Freedom, this was such a bonus as it put many of the exhibits into perspective. A great tour and worth every penny

WOW! What an experience! My wife and I booked two private tours which included a tour to Trakai Castle and separate and apart, transportation from Vilnius, Lithuania to Riga, Latvia with stops at Hill of the Crosses and Rundale Palace. For those of you who plant to travel to the Baltics, I strongly recommend including these two UNESCO World Heritage sites. Additionally, I would strongly recommend going with Avitalis who operates FeelZCity Tours out of Vilnius. Avitalis coordinated a FLAWLESS tour which also included a private guide who walked us through Rundale Palace and shared the amazing history of this gem of a site. What was so special with FeelZCity was Avitalis allowed me to tailor our full day of traveling to my specifications including the MB V Class which i reserved for the day. I cannot thank Avitalis and FeelZCity Tours nore for making our tour one of the most amazing experiences we have ever had. AND!!!
