Learned a lot and had a great time!
A major highlight of our trip. We learned so much! The host is so knowledgeable, friendly and cares about what he does. He answered all our questions and was very thorough. The experience is well worth the money. He also gave us some recommendations for dinner after which were great!
Great experience! We were supposed to have a private event but somehow there was a mix-up and my husband and I wound up joining another group for their tasting experience. Everyone was cool with it and we wound up having a great time! Our guide was very knowledgeable about both tequila and mezcal and shared some amazing picks with us to taste. Definitely take a cab here and get a card or phone number from a cab driver so they can come back to pick you up. The shop is located outside of the main Tulum downtown area and there won't be a lot of cabs driving by once the tasting is over.
Sam was amazing! Extremely knowledgeable in what he talks about. Former chef, experience in mixology but ultimately, expert in flavor. You’ll learn more than just about mezcal and tequila; you’ll learn about flavor profiles, pairings & general principles of flavor. I can’t recommend this experience enough!
My tour guide did not show up. After paying $50 USD to taxi to the tasting, we sat around for 30 minutes with no response—only to get a text message over an HOUR LATER explaining the last minute cancellation. I definitely understand things come up—it just would have been nice to get a heads up before spending extra money.

I also advise you to seek advice regarding taxis in Tulum. 50 USD is very expensive to get around the area. You were probably scammed. We can offer you reliable people; just ask. Regards.

Juan was so insightful, as well as a joy to learn from; the environment was pleasant, and his knowledge and passion is what made this activity even more remarkable! I will be taking what I learned back to the states. PSA: he has a mocktail that is the bomb🔥🔥🔥 definitely ask to try his latest invention.

I was contacted the day before to switch my scheduled time because they booked someone else for the same time I booked for . So I asked for a refund that I’m still waiting on .
