Booked the service in August 2025, to take place in February 2026, for a private taxi transfer from our Hotel in Phnom Penh to our Hotel in Siem Reap. The journey time was estimated at 5-6hrs. As the taxi needed to accommodate 4 adults with 8 pieces of luggage & I wanted everybody to have an individual seat, I emailed Viator in January 2026 to ensure that the vehicle they supplied would match the criteria. Received a positive and quick response. Viator supplied the Drivers details & contact number in advance. He turned up at our Phnom Penh Hotel 15 minutes early (9.45am), loaded the vehicle, which was pristine, individual & very comfortable seats. Water was supplied, we had three rest stops en route (one for lunch not included in the price, which we knew). We could engage in conversation with the driver. He drove very safely and he delivered us to the doorstep of our Siem Reap Hotel. Yes it was a long journey, we knew this beforehand but the vehicle was very comfortable and the trip enabled us to enjoy & experience the varied Cambodian countryside. Great experience from start to finish.

Did a private transfer from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap which took approx 6hrs with Mr John as our driver. This is such a lovely way to transfer between cities, the road is great and the scenery is so interesting. We had a couple of stops along the way to eat and see a few a things. Stopped at a stone bridge that was almost 1000yrs old, that was an unexpected treat. Mr John's car was clean and spacious (4 Adults and 4 large suitcases) with complementary water and John spoke excellent english so he was also able to give us great history of the areas when we wanted to know something.

My driver Thearak was fantastic! Very smooth ride, spacious car and amazing service. He really put my safety first, wasn’t looking at his phone and made sure I could get rest along the way. It was amazing watching the country lifestyle happening outside. Great experience.
