Medan du är i hamn i Palma de Mallorca, utforska byarna Valldemossa och Palma de Mallorca på en privat strandutflykt med en privat guide. Denna resa tar oss först till Valldemossa, där du kan promenera genom de fridfulla kullerstensgatorna eller koppla av och njuta av en kaffe medan du slukar en av de lokala delikatesserna som "coca de patatas" (liten potatisbaserad sockerkaka) som kl. den här tiden på dygnet brukar vi ha den charmiga staden för oss själva. Du kan gå med vår guide för en avslappnad promenad runt gatorna eller besöka i din egen takt Kartuserklostret och den berömda kompositören Chopins hus (entréer ingår inte i priset).

(Inträde exkluderat i priset) Kartusiska klostret Valldemossa, på Mallorca "la Cartoixa de Valldemossa", har använts för olika ändamål genom tiden. Från början var det residens för kung Sancho I av Mallorca och blev senare det tidigare kungliga residenset och slutligen Royal Charterhouse.
Detta är födelseplatsen för Catalina Thomàs, det mest vördade helgonet på ön känd som "La Beateta", som föddes i Valldemossa på 1500-talet. I hennes hem, som nu byggts om till kapell, finns en kakel vid ingången som föreställer en scen från livet för Mallorcas första helgon.
Vi kommer nu att ha anlänt till centrala Palma de Mallorca med vår guide, och det är dags att njuta av en skön promenad till "monumentalområdet" där många av stadens sevärdheter kan ses. Vi börjar med en panoramatur längs Palmas småbåtshamn och tar in den härliga utsikten över Palmas livliga hamn.
Stanna för foton utanför Palma-katedralen (La Seu) och hör hur den romersk-katolska kultplatsen byggdes på platsen för en gammal arabisk moské. Gå sedan in för att beundra dess runda, målade glasfönster och Gaudi-designade funktioner. Den färgstarka, och ofta kontroversiella, modernistiska konstnären satte sin prägel på platsen, och hans iögonfallande altartavla anses vara katedralens höjdpunkt.
Du kommer att gå förbi och kunna beundra skönheten i det kungliga palatset i La Almudaina, som går tillbaka till 1300-talet. Det är officiell residens för deras majestäter kungen och drottningen under deras vistelser på Mallorca. Tillsammans med Palmas katedral utgör de ett landmärke för Balearernas huvudstad. Ett palats som speglar de konstnärliga stilar som har följt varandra genom öns historia.
Medan du strosar genom den vackra gamla staden Palma kommer du över Ayuntamiento de Palma, som ligger på Palmas Plaza de Cort. Det byggdes mellan 1649 och 1680 av arkitekterna Pere Bauçá, Miquel Oliver och Bartomeu Calafat. Några av de mest framstående elementen på fasaden är balkongen med sju stora fönster, Rellotge d'en Figuera (Figuera-klockan) och Banc del si no fos (Bank of om du inte missar det). Själva byggnaden förklarades som ett historiskt-konstnärligt monument som tillhör National Artistic Treasure genom dekret av den 3 juni 1931.
Medan du tar in den hisnande utsikten över Palmas gamla stadsdel och den historiska arkitekturen, håll utkik efter olivträdet Cort! Detta unika träd, känt som Olivera de Cort, planterades 1999 från bergskedjan Tramuntana, som en symbol för fred och rotfasthet i landet. Cort Olive Tree ligger mitt på torget, precis framför stadshuset. Trots flytten och dess ålder fortsätter den att bära frukt varje år.

Very nice car. A driver and a separate guide was probably not necessary. Beautiful island. We took the train back to Palma, it was a very nice ride. If it wasn't so expensive was probably 4 stars.

Regarding the guide, Camy is a fully licensed official guide accredited by the Balearic Tourism Authorities and conducts tours in English every week. Over the years she has received hundreds of excellent reviews from English-speaking clients praising both her knowledge and communication skills. While we understand that accents and speaking styles can be perceived differently by different people, your comment is certainly not representative of the feedback we normally receive. As for having both a driver and a guide, this is not an unnecessary luxury but a deliberate choice to provide a higher-quality service. Mallorca's roads, traffic and parking conditions require the driver's full attention. At the same time, the guide is there to explain the history and culture of the places visited, organise the itinerary, assist guests and ensure everything runs smoothly. Expecting one person to safely drive while simultaneously guiding a private tour would not be realistic and certainly would not improve the experience. Finally, private tours are naturally more expensive than shared excursions because the vehicle, guide and driver are dedicated exclusively to your party. Even so, our private tours are typically around 20–25% less expensive than comparable private excursions offered by many other companies in Mallorca. An incredible adventure with our wonderful guide, Jeanine Grimalt and driver Avelin (sp). We did an extensive tour of the goegeous village of Valldemossa. We had a wonderful day touring Valldemossa and Palma with Peter. He went above and beyond to help us—our daughter had dropped her cell phone a couple of days earlier in Naples, and he kindly assisted us in finding a store to try to repair her screen. After exploring the charming streets and visiting the beautiful cathedral in Palma, we traveled in a very comfortable Mercedes Sprinter van to the picturesque village of Valldemossa. We enjoyed some free time to explore and had lunch at the most charming little tapas restaurant, dining outside under a big shade tree. Peter was incredibly kind, professional, and accommodating to our group, making the day both relaxing and memorable. We truly enjoyed our time with him and would highly recommend his tour.

Communication was great leading up to excursion. Our private van was very nice and driver was excellent. Our guide was very knowledgeable and looked for our feedback on what we wanted to see and do. Our guide Luis was very good, unfortunately the weather did not let us walk around the city. We went to Valdemosa and the town was very pretty. We could not go to the cathedral because of the rain and we had to continue our tour in the bus.
