Independence Memorial Hall (även Independence Commemoration Hall) är ett nationellt monument i Sri Lanka som byggdes för att hedra Sri Lankas oberoende från den brittiska regeln med återställandet av det fulla styrande ansvaret [2] till en Ceylonese-vald lagstiftare den 4 februari 1948 . Det ligger i Independence Square (tidigare Torrington Square) i kanelträdgårdarna, Colombo. Det finns också Independence Memorial Museum.

Galle Face är en urbanpark med 5 hektar (12 hektar), som sträcker sig 500 meter längs kusten, i hjärtat av Colombo, Sri Lankas finans- och affärshuvudstad. Promenaden lanserades ursprungligen 1859 av guvernör Sir Henry George Ward, även om den ursprungliga Galle Face Green sträckte sig över ett mycket större område än vad som ses idag. Galle Face Green användes ursprungligen för hästkapplöpning och som golfbana, men användes också för cricket, polo, fotboll, tennis och rugby.

It's arguably the best city tour in Colombo visiting most of the options without overdoing the same things. Dimuth is an excellent guide with a sense of humour and lot's of patience. He did't rush us away from visits we were enjoying. He has an excellent air-conditioned Toyota HiAce van suitable for 2 or up to 8. See the City with him in confidence.
On time and very professional. Was a fun trip, very good driver and happy to go with whatever we chose to do.

Dimuth responded promptly to a last-minute tour request and arranged a nice half-day tour of Colombo. Our driver Nishan was communicative and flexible, and helped us get a flavor for the city in a short period of time. Great value and super convenient for a Negombo pick up.

Trip to colomobo with our guide Dimuth. Perfect on time, and take US with his car to Colombo. Visit of some temples and other historical monuments. Hé give us also time for shopping in the mall. Even we had a lot of Rain, the trip was perfect. Thanks again to Dimuth.

We took this activity and kandy tour with mahesh driver/guide was on time for the tour ! First thing was information from him was good and somehow it’s really hard to understand the English since many travellers don’t speak native Sri Lankan language , there was not proper time management for each activity as it just goes so we really don’t how much time we could spend in each activity and there was some Misguidance for the tickets as it required foreigners tickets to enter in some activities , bought native entry tickets and situation was little confused. Otherwise it’s all good . Helpful with some personal stuff .

As our hotel was located outside of Colombo, we decided to do the tour by car rather than by tuk tuk. We had a great time. Dimuth is a very nice person and a safe driver. He showed us the highlights of Colombo and provided interesting facts about them. We can only recommend to do this tour :) P.S. Even in times of COVID, we never were worried about our health on this trip. Everybody in Sri Lanka takes this topic very serious, is wearing a mask and is practicing social distancing.

This city tour of Colombo is highly recommend as it offers you the chance visit many places of interest like Independence square, Gangaramya temple, Colombo downtown, light house etc. Super friendly guide and welcoming locals make for the tour to be all the more worth remembering!

Prima tour. Pickup at cruise terminal was super and on time. See a lot of important places. Great to do with tuk tuk. Temple amazing. Very good guide, friendly and patient. Also to do with elderly people. Advice: do it!!!!!!

I booked this tour for half day and it was enough to visit the beautiful spots in Colombo. Tour guide was expansive knowledge on Sri Lanka and was very helpful to take my photos. Since Colombo was very hot when I visited, riding the car instead of tuk tuk provided comfort.
