Med start från Nagano City eller någon av Naganos 5 främsta skidorter (Hakuba, Shiga Kogen, Nozawa Onsen, Myoko Kogen, Madarao Kogen), vi hämtar ditt sällskap i vårt privata fordon för att ta dig på din privata rundtur och släppa av dig tillbaka på upphämtningsplatsen eller i Nagano City. Gästerna kommer också att ha en chans att promenera på de charmiga gatorna i den historiska staden Obuse och njuta av att se dess återstående byggnader från Edo-perioden, samt utforska Zenko-ji, ett av Japans äldsta och viktigaste buddhistiska tempel, och hem till de första känd buddhistisk staty att föras till Japan. När din turné börjar går du ombord på vårt privata turfordon och lämnar staden bakom dig när du transporteras till Snow Monkey Park, som ligger i onsenstaden Yudanaka vid foten av bergen. Din guide tar dig längs skogsstigen som leder till parken och in i Jigokudani - ganska dramatiskt översatt till "Hell's Valley". Hem till den enda truppen apor i hela världen som är känd för att bada i varma källor, det finns inga barriärer som skiljer dig från de vilda aporna, vilket gör detta till en unik och minnesvärd upplevelse. Din Guide följer dig sedan tillbaka längs leden till närliggande Hotarutei för en välförtjänt lunch och du kommer att njuta av "nabe", som betyder "varm pott" på Japanska. Nabe är en klassisk vintermat i Japan och ett perfekt sätt att värma sig en kall vinterdag. För att passa individuella preferenser kan du välja mellan nötkött, skaldjur eller vegetarisk nabe. Dessutom ingår bland annat tempura, misosoppa, sushi och te/kaffe. Denna vackert tillagade, mättande lunch är utformad för att matcha säsongen och lyfta fram det bästa av Naganos berömda matkultur.
Välmatad och nöjd är det dags att bege sig ut från Yudanaka för att utforska den pittoreska staden Obuse och dess återstående byggnader i Edo-stil. Känd för sin historiska karaktär, kastanjedelikatesser och sakebryggerier, att gå på Obuses gator ger en otrolig möjlighet att prova några lokala specialiteter och uppskatta den lokala kulturen i Nagano och Japan som helhet under denna promenad genom tiden. Efter att ha tillbringat en tid i Obuse, kommer du återigen gå ombord på det privata fordonet på väg mot Nagano City
Zenko-ji Temple, som en registrerad National Treasure, är templet den viktigaste kulturella platsen i Nagano och ett av de äldsta och viktigaste buddhistiska templen i hela landet! En plats av sann historisk betydelse, full av legender och myter, du kommer att guidas runt templet innan din guide ger dig möjlighet att utforska det omgivande området med mindre tempel, butiker och mat själv. Som Japans näst största producent av sake är Nagano synonymt med sake och inget besök i regionen är komplett utan att gräva ner sig i Japans mest kända dryck. Din guide leder ditt sällskap till en lokal producent av sake och introducerar hur du kan skilja en brygd från en annan när du smakar på en mängd olika alkoholhaltiga och alkoholfria drycker. Informationen från din guide gör att du kan fortsätta njuta av sake på ett meningsfullt sätt även efter att turnén är slut.

Fantastic! We saw the monkeys coming in from the mountain. The guide was very good and flexible. We changed plans to see the Olympic museum which was no problem. The story of the temple was explained very well.
Dillon was an awesome guide. We had a great day. Snow Monkeys were a blast and saw 100s of them. Lunch was amazing, and Zenko-ji Temple was super interesting and beautiful. Dillon was fun and informative and made this a great private family excursion

Our first time to Nagano. It was a great trip with our guide Jake. We saw many snow monkeys along with many different sites. The hot pot lunch was great too. We would recommend people take this tour.
We were staying in Hakuba and wanted a day off skiing so booked the tour which was a great day out. Our guide Hana was super lovely and friendly. The monkeys were out in good numbers, the lunch superb and the temple great to see.

We had a really wonderful day! It was varied and gave everyone something to enjoy. The snow monkey visit was adorable and watching them play was fantastic. Our kids all enjoyed the chance to stretch their legs and hike a little too. Then on to the most beautiful lunch we have had so far in Japan. We felt like royalty. The shrine visit was interesting and the Sake tasting even included the kids- they have non-alcoholic varieties! Our guide, Hiroshi, engaged with all of us, the kids included. (For context, our kids are 10, 12, and 14.) It was a great way to see a very beautiful part of Japan.

Snow Monkeys were alot of fun and very cute. Its worth seeing them - especially the babies. The walk in is a bit trecherous - very icy but our 87 and 81 year old patriarch and matriarch made it fine. Lunch was the best meal of the whole trip and the best tour lunch we have ever had anywhere in the world. It is a bit expensive but worth it in the end. Kei, our guide, was amazing. She was very knowledgable and helpful for our large group of 11

I cannot recommend this tour enough! My wife and I booked a private tour with Endo who took us, our three small children, and father-in-law on a wonderful tour of Osaka and to see the snow monkeys. It will end up being the highlight of our Japan trip for our two boys who we had to drag out of the park because they did not want to leave. Endo taught us so much about the culture of Osaka and really cared about us and our kids. Our oldest son was glued to his side and he made us feel like part of his family. We booked a private tour, and it was fantastic! Hiroshi, our guide, was knowledgeable and accommodating. The monkey park was incredible, and the lunch felt authentic and tasted delicious. We stopped at a beautiful little town and enjoyed learning about the Zenkoji temple and sake tasting after (there was even NA sake for the kids). After the tour ended, the driver took us to our ski resort. It was all enjoyable and pleasant. Highly recommend this tour!
