Denna privata tur utforskar det bästa av västra Island. Vi kommer att börja passera genom enorma lavafält, berg som ser ut att stiga upp ur havet, charmiga fiskebyar och oändliga vikar och stränder. Inkluderat är en läcker lunch på en av våra favorit lokala restauranger. Denna privata tur kördes tidigare som en liten grupptur men är nu endast tillgänglig för privata sällskap på upp till 12. Sellvallafoss, med utsikt över sjön Sellvallavatn, är en av de mer undangömda platserna längs vägen, trots att det ligger så nära fjällvägen. Den skyms av markens konturer, längs en omärkt väg. Den korta promenaden är väl värd att se detta unikt formade vattenfall. Det är smeknamn, fårets vattenfall är så namngivet på grund av fritt strövande får som ofta gömmer sig bakom fallen på en sommardag.

Upphämtningar börjar klockan 9. Vänligen var på din angivna upphämtningsplats vid denna tid bara några minuter för tidigt. Vi hämtar från de utsedda turistbuss upphämtningsplatser i centrala Reykjavik, och vissa hotell där det är tillåtet att köra och hämta från.

Hidden Iceland coordinated our Iceland trip from start to finish and they were responsive, thoughtful and had great suggestions. Each of the three guides Matej, Levi and Macin were great at sharing information and history and stories while guiding us through the best sites in Iceland. Our groups were small, we traveled in comfortable vehicles, and had a wonderful time. Our driver to the airport even suggested a quick stop at a Viking Festival along the way as we had plenty of time. An extra bonus which we loved,

This peninsula has breathtaking views and the trip provides a wide range of scenery including waterfalls, glacier views, black sand beaches and spectacular rock formations. This was our 2nd tour with Hidden Iceland and it was a beautiful day. Our guide Einar went above and beyond to make sure that everybody in the group of 9 had an enjoyable day. There are many sights on this trip that you will find yourself remembering long after your vacation is over. There are far fewer crowds at many of the sights on this tour than some of the other areas that you can reach within a day from Reykjavik, making it that much easier to feel like you are communing with nature. This is an excellent tour to include in your itinerary!

The Peninsula trip was amazing. Our guides Fannar and Ragnar could not have been more helpful. Exquisite scenery, beautiful waterfalls, amazing geyser, as well as super recommendations for the rest of our time in Iceland. Exceptional. Highly recommended.

Farnash (sp?) of Hidden Iceland was a fantastic guide! We traveled a long distance through snow, whiteouts, rain, sleet, and extremely windy conditions in a very comfortable and safe Mercedes minibus. It was a great tour. We learned so much about Iceland and the stories of the Hidden People and the myths and culture of Iceland. Our lunch was delicious. And our stops and the scenery along the way were amazing! It's funny. In other places, we may have been disappointed by the weather but somehow our driver/guide made the entire experience interesting and exciting and taught us the Icelandic expression - everything will work out in the end - which we came to embrace and appreciate.
