Vårt första stopp på vår tur i Joshua Tree National Park är Quail Springs där du kommer att få gå runt några av de äldsta metamorfa klipporna i parken. Dessa stenar sägs vara 1,7 miljarder år gamla och du kommer att bli förvånad över de surrealistiska klippformationer du ser.
Banana Cracks är ett populärt klippklättringsområde med stora klippformationer som är fantastiska att titta på. Vi gör ett kort stopp här och tar en promenad runt. Bra ställe för några bilder och en snabb medling eller promenad. Njut av en stunds tystnad och lyssna på naturen när du blickar ut över de surrealistiska underverken i Joshua Tree National Park.
Hidden Valley Nature Trail är vårt främsta vandringsmål för turen och är enligt vår mening den mest natursköna naturvandringen i Joshua Tree National Park. Vi kommer att vandra denna lätta till måttliga 1 mil slinga som tar ca 45 minuter att slutföra. Du kommer att vara omgiven av enorma granit klippformationer och vacker ökennatur när du går längs stigen av dolda dalen. Du kommer att vilja ta med din kamera och ta massor av bilder. Detta är en ganska lätt promenad men om din grupp inte känner för det kan vi göra mer körning och sightseeing istället.
Keys View är en av de fyra högsta topparna i Joshua Tree National Park och du kan se fantastisk utsikt över Coachella Valley och tvärgående bergskedjor som leder in i Salton Sea och Palm Springs. På de flesta dagar kan du se den norra kanten av Saltonhavet.
Cap Rock Nature Trail är vårt sista stopp och är en snabb och enkel .03 mile slinga som bara tar 15 minuter men är väl värt den korta vandringen. Du kommer att omges av skönheten i Joshua Tree National Park när du går förbi Cap Rock och ökennaturen som omger den.
(Ett valfritt stopp)Skull Rock kan vara en av de mest populära stenarna i parken. Beläget runt Jumbo Rocks campingplats, är det en ikonisk metamorf stenblock som är formad som en skalle. Barn älskar Skull Rock. Joshua Tree National Park har massor av vackra stenblock, vissa ser ut som de är uthuggna och formade av någon men det är bara miljontals år av erosion. Planned a quick stay in Palm Springs with my spouse and teen and wanted an easy way to see Joshua Tree National Park. Our guide, Jason picked us up at our condo at 9 and took us to the park. There was a good mix of seeing sites while riding and getting out and walking around. Great photo ops along the way. We returned around 2. Highly recommend this option if you want to see the park but not spend time and effort researching and driving.
