Denna upplevelse har noggrant designats för riktiga bergsvandrare. Denna upplevelse ger, förutom fördelarna med att vandra i bergen, en mycket direkt kontakt med byarnas fädernegårdstraditioner genom besöket i deras inhägnader och skyddsrum, men har också en mycket stark naturlig komponent av avkoppling mellan lokalbefolkningen. Allt är programmerat i en takt som gör att människor kan njuta av platserna utan brådska så att de verkligen kan dra nytta av dessa platser... För älskare av vattenfall och laguner är det utan tvekan en tillgång eftersom det finns flera längs rutten efter lunch som inte är inom räckhåll för den normala vandraren. Vi har testat den här upplevelsen med bra resultat, så vi tror starkt på dess kvalitet och vi bestämde oss för att dela den med alla som vill ge sig ut med oss. Vi väntar på dig

Resplan
Start av upplevelsen från mötesplatsen kl 10:00 med alla deltagare på väg till Pedra Bela. Passera genom flera picknickområden och klättra till toppen av berget genom en skog.
Plats med fantastisk utsikt över hela Gerês-dalen och Albufeira da Caniçada. Hisnande landskap där det är möjligt att se några toppar i Serra do Gerês. Starten på vandringen runt 10:45h som tar oss till Curral de Carvalhas das Éguas och dess pastorala skydd. Efter ett kort stopp klockan 11:25 beger vi oss till Curral da Lomba do Vidoeiro där vi kan se dess gamla skyddsrum, där herdarna tillbringade natten. Ytterligare ett stopp för att begrunda platsen och kl. 11.50 börjar vi den sista fasen av vandringen till Prado da Teixeira och anländer runt 12.25 där vi stannar för att koppla av i skuggan av dess imponerande ekar på en grön äng, upptäcka dess skydd av herdar och absorberar kraften i de omgivande landskapen. En liten bäck som passerar där bildar en naturlig pool av rent och kristallint vatten där det är möjligt att ta några vackra dopp. En riktig bergsoas. Dags att äta lunch (picknick) och fylla på med energi för resten av dagen.
Klockan 14.30 börjar vi en ny vandring som tar oss till en av Gerês största hemligheter, Fecha da Pombeira med sitt enorma vattenfall och sin naturliga pool som de kallar Cascata dos Hippies. Ett obligatoriskt stopp inte bara för att bada utan också för att begrunda vad naturen har att erbjuda. Vid 15.30-tiden fortsätter vi vår vandring denna gång längs flodbädden där vi kommer att hitta sanna naturskatter tills vi når den olympiska lagunen, ett obligatoriskt stopp för att bada och få kontakt med naturen i dess rena och vilda tillstånd.
Klockan 16:30 dags att återuppta vandringen till ett av de mest kända vattenfallen i vår nationalpark, Cascata do Arado, på vägen kommer vi fortfarande att se några andra laguner och vattenfall. Klockan 17:00 dags att stanna igen vid en picknickplats lite längre bort där ett mellanmål serveras med vin, ostar, bröd och korv för att fylla på med energi inför den sista promenaden som tar oss tillbaka till vandringens startpunkt. Klockan 17:30, med energin återställd, dags att göra den sista promenaden som tar oss tillbaka till platsen där vi började dagen på Pedra Bela. När vi når slutet av denna cirkulära stig runt 18:45, kommer vi tillbaka till mötesplatsen i byn Gerês.

Of the best experiences I've ever had in my life. We were surprised by the rain in the middle of the track and still decided to continue, which made the experience even more spectacular. Our guide (Rui) was very attentive and careful and led us to know wonderful landscapes. Experience 5 stars, I recommend.
Difficult access to go down to the bottom...I doubt there are other accesses to go... Recommended for agile people and equipped with good shoes. It is indicated that fatal accidents have already taken place... So go ahead with the utmost care.... After this important safety detail, the natural site is beautiful to be able to swim in these crystal clear waters and jump from the rocks.

This was truly an amazing trek! Our guide was very knowledgeable and very informative. We truly enjoyed the journey, it was by far our favorite experience during our trip to Portugal. If you are a hiker and want a very special experience I highly recommend this trip. When we were tired we took breaks, we brought food and our guide also brought a bunch of food to share with us. I was amazed at the beauty of this area. It was truly breathtaking and absolutely gorgeous!!!! The springs to drink from were fresh and delicious mineral rich water.
Gentleness , choice of route , the beautiful view despite the rain . The guide moved the intinerary so that we could enjoy the sun when it appeared and always showing us as much as possible.
Nelson our guide was very helpful and informative, also very easy to get along with. Showed us the least populated spots around the hike for beautiful views and refreshing dips in lagoons and waterfalls. Nelson has a deep passion for hiking and the culture of the place. He was also very accommodating for everyones needs and capabilities throughout the hike. We loved every bit of the journey with Nelsons guidance. I would recommend this trip to anyone seeking adventure and the best that Geres has to offer!!
Spectacular! I went on a trip with my wife and my dog. As soon as we met with Nelson and Rui I saw it was going to be a day to remember, because our puppy instantly became affectionate to them (rare thing). My wife and I became acquainted with absolutely charming parts of the Gerês, and even had to do some dives in refreshing waterfalls. Nelson and Rui, with their infinite sympathy and kindness, were the perfect guides for a relaxed and memorable walk. An experience that we will undoubtedly repeat!
The Peneda-Gerês National Park is one of the most amazing places to visit, its natural beauty is everywhere. However, Gerês also has its secrets. This secret does not come demarcated in tour guides or itinerary maps. These secrets are revealed with the extensive exploration experience that Wild and Free tours has. The private excursion through the Natural Cascades and Lagoas of Gerês is undoubtedly a spectacular experience to do, with friends, family and all adventurers and nature lovers! Wild and Free is an amazing team to do these adventures, show the corners and corners of all paths and make us feel safe and serene in the middle of Mother Nature! I can’t wait to repeat more experiments with Wild and Free and with my friends. We are all eager to dive back into the lagoons, which after a good walk is the best one can have, we are soon ready to continue the way!
