Denna turné tar dig bortom de typiska turistplatserna för att avslöja Algarves sanna själ. Vi kommer att besöka Loulés kommunala marknad, ett av de bästa exemplen på den arabiska väckelsestilen - Loulés gamla stadsgator med sina traditionella hus och där du kommer att se kopparmästaren arbeta med sin traditionella kataplana och andra föremål, de lokala damerna som väver dvärgpalm träd löv, sy och länka varje gren, vilket producerar så många olika föremål: väskor, babysängar, korgar och mer traditionella eller innovativa föremål. - Den traditionella shoppinggatan med kullersten
Olhãos unika arkitektur skapar ett speciellt urbant panorama. En av Olhãos mest ikoniska egenskaper är dess nätverk av hus i kubistisk stil. Dessa kubistiska strukturer visar upp stadens konstnärliga anda och unika inställning till arkitektur. Första stoppet på vår turné är den kommunala marknaden. Den här byggnaden ligger längs vattnet och sticker ut bland de vita husen med sina röda tegelväggar och gröna kupoler. Det finns två sektioner: en med frukt och grönsaker och lokala torrprodukter, och en annan enbart tillägnad fisk och skaldjur, som musslor, musslor och ostron. Vi kommer att gå till centrum längs de traditionella gatorna där du hittar traditionella portugisiska byggnader med sina traditionella kakel och järnbalkonger och du kommer också att se de kubistiska husen.

Vår turné tar dig med på en fängslande resa genom denna förtrollande stad, känd för sin historia, vackra landskap och pulserande kultur. Vårt första stopp är i hjärtat av Faro, Gamla stan. Vi kommer att besöka katedralen i Faro, en gotisk religiös struktur som erbjuder en titt på det förflutna och panoramautsikt över staden från takterrassen på klocktornet. Eftersom Faro också är hem för den vackra naturparken Ria Formosa, ett skyddat område med olika ekosystem, salta kärr och ett överflöd av fågelarter, kan vi från toppen av katedralen beundra den vackra utsikten. Vår rundtur tar oss sedan till Arco da Vila, en av de antika stadens entréer. Under vårt besök i Faro kommer du att ha möjlighet att passera genom de traditionella shoppinggatorna och promenera genom kullerstensgatorna.

My husband and I spent 4 wonderful days with Johnny. He arrived every morning at our hotel on time and always happy. He made sure we saw all the most important places but also allowed for us to customize our daily tours. As a local and having grown up in the Algarves,, Johnny's history is invaluable. We learned so very much. Whether you tour 1 day or 5 days, Johnny is who you need to tour with.

What a fabulous day Johnny lined for us! We chose a private tour due to our limited time in the Algarve region. We rate tours based on 1) communication, 2) itinerary, 3) information, 4) organization and 5) pricing. The communication was great. We were notified and reminded of the pick up time. Johnny asked what we wanted to do and see. He interjected several stops that proved to be interesting, so our itinerary included a visit to local artisans, including a coppersmith and a basket weaver. We visited the local markets in Loulé and in Olhão. The churches and cathedrals we visited were breathtaking! And all that time Johnny was explaining the history of, the customs, the traditions of each place. The pricing was agreed upon up front. At the end of the day, we felt we certainly got our money’s worth. To have a tour guide put so much enthusiasm and pride in the Algarve and Portugal made this tour very special and meaningful. Johnny Tours is one of the best company I have ever had the pleasure to tour with. Joao is very friendly, professional and kind. His transport is brand new and comfortable. Johnny organized a 23 person all day tour that took us to Loule , Tavira , the Quinta da Tor winery and a few other stops. It was very good value for our money , a good time was had by all and Johnny and his cohort Nelson are both affable and knowledgeable guides. We also had used Johnny’s tours to arrange transport for the majority of our group from Lisbon to the Rocha Brava resort and a smaller group transport from The resort to Seville, Spain I would highly recommend this company for any trips you’re considering
