Lucio our driver picked us up at the cruise terminal, super easy to find each other. The shuttle van was comfortable and roomy for the 6 of us on the tour. We had gorgeous weather finally on our trip sunny, warm, and blue skies. Lucio gave us a run down of our day and off we went. He is an excellent driver and he communicated very well with us. We had a drop off at an adorable historical lakeside town that we had an hour to just walk around and enjoy coffee and a croissant, then drove for a bit to another lakeside town that had an outdoor market and ended up having the best time looking at local wares. Our next stop was lunch at Osteria Del Borgo. Food was excellent and topped my best meal of our Italian trip. We walked around the outside area of the castle then got back in our van for the drive directly to our hotel by the airport. Lucio took us good care of us, was not pushy and gave great recommendations. Highly recommend this excursion a great way to see a good chunk of countryside with none of the worry of dealing w the stress of driving. Our driver that picked us up start of the trip was also wonderful and it was a smooth process getting to the cruise port. If you can split the cost with others or afford it on your own highly recommend this way of service.

For our last day in Rome, we decided to visit Castel Gandolfo, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. Our driver, Costinel, was exceptional—friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. We enjoyed a delightful progressive meal that began with a savory starter of porchetta, followed by a wonderful lunch at Ristorante Il Gladiatore in Lanuvio. To top it all off, we savored a delicious strawberry tarta for dessert in the charming town of Nemi. What a fantastic experience with Costinel! We are glad he is English speaking. He was very polite and incredibly accommodating. Even with a significant 4-hour flight delay, he made sure we were taken care of. He knows the street short cuts too. We arrived safe. Excellent service!

Book this Tour!! We just got back from a most amazing day with Davide! Everything was planned out perfectly, he met us at the Cruise Port and scheduled to take us to the Roman Countryside. He took us to a few amazing spots - the Popes Summer Palace and Some Quaint Italian Towns. He was extremely professional took great care of myself and my mother and tailored the tour to what we wanted! He took us to the sweetest lunch spot with an amazing view of the Lake and recommended local food to try. He took special care to find a store that sold an item we wanted to purchase but thought we had missed out on. I can’t recommend Davide enough, he made the day wonderful and stress free and had us at the airport in plenty of time! Thanks Davide and DriverinRome!!
Having been to Rome a number of times, we wanted to explore the countryside. Davide picked us up at our cruise ship right on time. He was very friendly, spoke english well, provided the background and history of each location and gave us a memorable experience. The views were spectacular. He took us to an excellent restaurant frequented by the locals in Nemi where we shared antipasto and pasta -- a huge array of local flavors and the tiramisu was excellent. The van was very comfortable, with a/c and plenty of room to store our luggage. Highly recommend them.
Lovely places! I saw Lake Nemi and tasted its strawberries. Then visit the museum of Roman ships. In the evening dinner at Castel Gandolfo from “Art and wine “all delicious!!
