1Den stora pyramiden i Khufu (Cheopspyramiden): Som den största och äldsta av de tre huvudpyramiderna är detta den mest ikoniska. Besökare kan gå in i den och utforska de antika gångarna som leder till Grand Gallery och kungens kammare. Sfinxen: Strax sydost om pyramiderna är den stora sfinxen en enorm kalkstensstaty med ett lejons kropp och ett faraos huvud, sannolikt föreställande farao Khafre. Det är en av världens största monolitiska skulpturer och en symbol för mystik. We had 2 tour guys. Mohamed and Issam. They both were very knowledgeable. They usually include a visit to a papyrus store, a oil store and a spices store which we asked them not to do and they pleased us. There are so many important buildings at the Market and of course tons of stores. You felt safe with Issam and it’s quite a unique experience. It is a long day though. I can recommend it.
