Privat rundtur i Simonehoeve Cheese Farm and Clog Factory

Beskrivning

Very very nice welcome and very nice staff.
Loved it! Informative and Remy was a nice guide. They have a large cheese tasting area where you can try 30 different cheeses and many gifts to choose from.
Turned up with no booking. The staff were absolutely superb, very friendly, helpful and patient - especially when I misplaced my phone. I was given a private tour 1:1 which was just superb. Can’t recommend this high enough
Absolutely wonderful visit, great talk on various cheeses, also fabulous demonstration of clog making, lots of cheeses to taste while there, fabulous gift shop and lovely coffee shop and free spicy biscuits, staff were absolutely friendly and made our visit so special ,thankyou so much, higly worth a visit!
We were there with our two teens and had the cheese production and wooden shoe manufacturing explained to us. After that we worked our way through the beautiful shop and tried Köse and bought some. Hmmm what a treat
What a fun and educational experience for the whole family! The farm is child-friendly and the explanation about cheese making was clear and interesting, also for the children. Tasting the different cheeses was really a highlight — all equally delicious! After the tour we enjoyed a nice picnic outside on the benches, overlooking the meadows. Our children especially loved hunting the chickens and petting the sheep. They're still talking about it! Highly recommended for families looking for a fun, educational and relaxing getaway in the countryside.
Lovely moment at the cheese farm! What a nice day at Cheese Farm Simone. The explanation about cheese making and wooden shoes was completely on children's size, and tasting the cheeses was the highlight for the kids! The mega large wooden shoes for nice photos were a hit. Thanks to the nice weather we were able to picnic outside at the picnic tables. The service in the cafeteria was a bit rough, but that didn’t matter: the children thoroughly enjoyed hunting chickens and petting the sheep in the pasture. Highly recommended for families!
What a wonderful place. Our tour guide took us here and we were very pleased. She explained that this was the real deal and not what she called plastic cheese. She is a local, so we trusted she knew the tourist traps from the authentic places. We had a private tour, just my husband and myself. We saw a demonstration on clog making and were given a souvenir clog, that they engraved. What a nice personal memento. The cheese was delicious, so many samples. The entire staff was superb, so friendly and accommodating. Genuinely happy to help visitors. They answered questions and were great. We were very happy we got to visit this special place. Definitely recommend .
The farm did not even have our booking and had to look it up on the computer but wanted to know how much we paid for it to decide what they were going to show/give us. Very basic, just a retail outlet to sell products. Not worth the effort to get to their location.
We attended a short explanatory session on the making of traditional Gouda, in French, by Isabelle (hoping not to misrepresent her first name). The visit ends in the store with a wide choice of gouda, which can be tasted. The team is very friendly and there is a really good atmosphere within the cheese factory. At the same time, there is also a presentation section on the making of wooden clogs, also accompanied by its souvenir shop.
