Bhalam är en plats där resenärer missar att gå och utforska, vi kommer att köra i 30 minuter och nå Hari Har Gupha-templet, som ligger på toppen av en kulle omgiven av en vacker promenad. Detta är också en by där den brittiska Gurkha-arméns träning sker varje år. Vi kommer att tillbringa 30 minuter med att utforska templet med utsikt över Pokhara City och bergen.
Från templet kör vi genom en vacker regnskog och går mot byn Armala, efter 30 minuter når vi Armala och utforskar den unika byn där du kan uppleva en lokal nepalesisk by och traditionella hus samt traditionellt sätt att leva. Sedan börjar vi vår vandring till toppen av kullen, Sol Kharka (Bhaisi Goth) där du kommer att se och utforska djungeln där buffelodling har pågått sedan evigheter som drivs av en lokal familj. Efter besöket i Sol Kharka vandrar vi tillbaka till Aarmala, kör till Bhalam för att äta lite sen lunch och kör sedan tillbaka till Lakeside där alla resenärer kommer att släppas tillbaka till sitt respektive hotell.
Efter lunch kör vi mot sjön, men på vägen stannar vi vid Seti River där du kan se Seti Gorge; en plats där Seti River har skapat en naturlig löpare under jordens yta, och vi kommer att ägna lite tid åt att se floden bilda en svängbro.

By far the best tour guide I’ve come across! I was really excited to experience the Village tour by Nabina which is loved by many & filled with all positive reviews. It was raining & Pokhara city was under curfew, but I am glad that I decided to take the tour . A day that’s memorable & well spent with Nabina exploring the village & surrounding area !

So worth it! I'm not a professional and was very out of shape when I went. I don't know what I would have done without Nabina. When I'm met her I knew that she would be the perfect guide. I'm so thankful I decided to go even though it was physically hard for me. I never felt pressured and she was always by my side waiting for me to catch my breath and motivating me to get to the top to see the view. And I was by far the slowest one. The memory of us getting near the top and running because of a hail storm is so special. We got to a restaurant and warmed up next to the fire with hot tomba. Nabina is so kind, patient, helpful, attentive, and knowledgeable. You'll be happy you went! Thank you so much, Nabina! I can't wait to see you next time in in Pokhara! :-)

Prokas was a great guide. I thought I was booking with Nebina as all the reviews mentioned her name, so at first I was put off. That said, Prokas was great. He showed me a cool hanging bridge, some temples, we shared a nice meal at his home and met his mother and grand mother. He then took me into a very remote village that was a cool experience.

Thanks to Nabina for taking us on an unforgettable private tour to your home village. Our family enjoyed every moment. Nabina is knowledgeable and a friendly guide who made us feel at home in her home. It was incredible to see her elderly Granny tending to the goats and walking uphill! Her Mom cooked us a most delicious meal while we enjoyed the breathtaking scenery and animals. The walk was so peaceful and visiting an ancient temple was memorable. Thank you once again

We had an incredible experience with Nabina who not only showed us the beautiful sights of Pokhara but also took us to her home village for a truly authentic and memorable adventure. The journey to her village was both scenic and insightful, offering us a glimpse into the everyday life of the locals. Nabina shared fascinating stories about her community’s traditions, history, and way of life, making the experience deeply personal and meaningful. Once we arrived at her home, we were warmly welcomed by her family and neighbours/ friends. They showed us genuine hospitality, treating us to homemade Nepali food that was absolutely delicious. From fresh dal bhat to local snacks, every bite was a reflection of the love and care put into the meal. We also had the chance to visit some sights including an old Temple. It was such a unique way to connect with the culture and appreciate the simplicity and beauty of rural life in Nepal. Nabina made the whole experience seamless, ensuring we felt comfortable and safe at all times. Her kindness, knowledge, and passion for her roots left a lasting impression on us. If you want to go beyond the typical tourist trail in Pokhara, I highly recommend Nabina. Visiting her village was the highlight of our trip, and we’ll treasure the memories forever!

Nabina is very sweet and knowledgeable. We trekked Ghorepani/Poon Hill with Nabina and it was an absolute pleasure. Nabina is the perfect guide to trek with. Being local to the Pokhara area her knowledge of the area is amazing and she speaks excellent English, so you really do get a great experience. I did the local village tour, catching a local bus with Nabina to an area about 15 minutes outside Pokhara city then trekking through the countryside, over a typical Nepal suspension bridge, to the village of Bhalam. Bhalam is a traditional Nepali village unspoiled by time. We walked through the village to the outskirts and ascended up typical Nepal stone steps carved into the hillside to a local hill farm, where we stopped and had freshly made tea and met the family. We then headed up through the forest, spotting monkeys as we walked, to visit a beautiful Hindu temple called Haruhar Gufa. Nabina explained everything about the temple, the history, the traditions and what all the statues and shrines represented. I was offered a blessing by one of the temple monks, which was a lovely touch. After leaving the temple we returned to the farm where the family cooked a traditional meal, using vegetables and other ingredients grown on the farm - completely garden to table. One of the children of the family showed me around the farm and showed me all the animals, vegetables and fruit they were growing and was so enthusiastic, proud and happy to show me her home. All in all a lovely day learning about life in a local village and hill farm, and about the local temple. Nabina took great care to make sure I was happy with everything and was the perfect guide/host. I would very highly recommend both Nabina as a guide, and this one day tour, which is simple but very enjoyable and gives you a good understanding of local life in the villages and hill farms of rural Nepal. I'm looking forward to doing some longer trips/tours with Nabina.
