En skräddarsydd privat rundtur med bil från Luxemburg City mot Moseldalen och tillbaka. Vi kommer att köra genom byarna och se historiska platser, parker, vinkällare och andra lokala attraktioner. Det kommer att finnas möjlighet att ta korta promenader för att njuta av vacker utsikt och koppla av på ett av de lokala kaféerna. Turnén är speciellt utformad för individer eller familjer som är intresserade av Luxemburgs historia och traditioner. Den vanliga rutten är cirka 80 kilometer. Resplanen kommer att anpassas till dina personliga preferenser.

Du börjar i Luxemburg City vid din upphämtningsplats
Den sista viloplatsen för dessa amerikaner som miste livet i Battle of the Bulge och i framryckningen till floden Rhen under andra världskriget.
Dalheim är en by i sydöstra Luxemburg. Det finns bevis på en romersk bosättning som heter Ricciacum. Den arkeologiska platsen innehåller rester av privata hus och offentliga byggnader som byggdes här runt 200-talet e.Kr.
Aspelt är en liten by med slottet daterat till 1500-talet och St. Andreas kyrka. Byn är förknippad med en framstående politisk person från 1200-talet som påverkade Luxemburgs historia.
Mondorf-les-Bains är en liten stad i sydöstra Luxemburg på gränsen till Frankrike. Staden är känd för sitt spacenter och termalparken med en fransk trädgård, orangeri, rosarie, fontäner och skulpturer.
Schengen är en liten vinby på den västra stranden av floden Mosel där gränserna mellan Luxemburg, Tyskland och Frankrike möts. Namnet på byn blev känt efter att Schengenavtalet undertecknades här 1985.
Remich är en stad på den vänstra stranden av floden Mosel. Det är känt för Mosel Esplanade och mysiga terrasser med kaféer och restauranger.
Domaines Vinsmoselle är den viktigaste producenten av luxemburgska viner och Crémants. Byn Wellenstein ligger bland vingårdarna och erbjuder panoramautsikt över floden Mosel.
Caves St Martin är en prestigefylld vingård strax utanför Remich. De erbjuder flera guidade turer, inklusive vinprovning. Besökarna promenerar i de underjordiska tunnlarna inhuggna i den fasta kalkstensklippan och upptäcker hemligheterna bakom St Martins högkvalitativa viner och cremanter. (Vingården är stängd i januari och februari samt på måndagar och tisdagar).

We had an amazing time on our private car tour from Luxembourg City to the Moselle Valley. Our guide, Alma, was fantastic and tailored the entire 80 km route to our specific interests in history and local traditions. We saw gorgeous villages, historical sites, and wine cellars, breaking up the drive with beautiful short walks and a relaxing stop at a local cafe. It was incredibly comfortable and perfectly paced. It can be longer than the advertised 5 hours, which is a good thing, so plan accordingly. Be prepared to absorb a lot of history, including names, places and dates.
Alma was fantastic! She is a wealth of knowledge on history and the city and country of Luxembourg. The city walk was beautiful and quite easy for me (I was on a cane) and had no problem keeping up. We signed on for a private tour and I learned so much about the city of Luxembourg that I hope we go back and spend more time. The drive through the countryside was spectacular on our way to Shengan.
