Privat rundtur i Isla Negra, Pomaire och Coastal Resorts Tour från Santiago

I did the tour to Maipo and Francisco was a great tour guide, the whole experience was amazing. From El Yeso, the food, the chocolate house and the traditional chilenian dance, the whole tour offered a great experience.

Juan was always very attentive, communicative and attentive that we felt at ease. There was never a rush so we could enjoy our time. Always explaining where we are headed and what to expect. Very good driver.

Danine was an excellent tour guide. She gave us so much information about Chile and immersed us in knowledge of her country. The guided tour of Isla Negra was fascinating and inspiringly beautiful. We ended the tour in a small town that is known for its pottery making. It was just a perfect experience.

We had a great day sightseeing with our guide Ignacio. He was friendly and knowledgeable and kept us comfortable in the car. He told us the interesting history about the areas that we passed by and stopped in and let us wander on our own when we wanted when wanted, and we had a delicious lunch in a restaurant overlooking the ocean. The house of Pablo Neruda was a highlight and definitely worth a visit.

Nice. Pablo Nerudas house very interesting. Guide and driver great wish could see more of beach towns. Traffic was horrible but not their fault. Weekend probably not good time to go

The tour was waaay over priced and completely underwhelming. We thought we were getting a guided tour and instead our driver showed up in a banged up car, pointed to a big winery as we drove by, drove us through a coastal town (and all he said was there are pools at some of the resort hotels) and then we drove away. We then went to Isla Nedra and toured Nerudas house which was interesting. However, we waited over 15 minutes for our guide to show up (we waited by the car) and when he arrived he was unable to get in the car. My guess is he needed a new battery for the car. Then we arrived in Pomaire. We had lunch and walked around and then headed back. We did not have a guid; we had a driver. It was lame and completely over priced. Obviously we are willing to pay, but the expectation is that the quality matches the price.

Alex was a great tour guide. Isla Negra was a wonderful experience! Alex worked with us to not repeat anything we had done the prior day!

Amazing experience. Our guide Alex was very kind and thoughtful. We enjoyed a lot visiting the Pablo Neruda's house, Pomaire, Isla Negra, our lunch in the beach, every part of our trip was incredible. Many thanks to Alex and we for sure recommend a lot this experience.

First, Patrick was on time. and was a good driver. He has good English skills and kept us amused during the trip with commentary on items and sights. We had booked a private tour four. The van was clean and comfortable. Our first visit was to Pablo Neruda house on Isla Negra. It was about an hours drive from Santiago. A truly interesting potpourri of nautical themed collections from figureheads to ships-in-a-bottle. Well worth a visit. Then a leisurely drive along the rocky coast, stopping for photos along the way and visiting the worlds largest swimming pool a little over a kilometer in length. Then inland to Pomaire where we had a wonderful lunch and did some shopping amongst the pottery stores. Then about a half hour return to Santiago. A really nice and leisurely tour ... stopping where we wanted and in no hurry to get anywhere

We were picked up by Jannyna our guide and her husband Mauricio who was our driver. Due to traffic our pick up time kept changing but we had a very full day. It is a long drive to Pablo Neurda’s house a good distance away from the city. You get an audio guide for the self guided one hour tour (no photos inside the house.) Unsupervised children seemed to be running back and forth. The house was very interesting. We then watched a 12 minute video about Paublo Neruda’s life. We should have watched the video before touring the house to give us some background to his life. After touring the house we went to a beach area where Neruda wanted to made a place for artists to work but he died before its completion. We next visited the longest man-made lagoon at San Alfonso del Mar for a photo stop. We went to the city of Promire thinking by the tour description we would see potters at work. The town is one block long with people just selling pottery a big disappointment. We told our guides we could walk by ourselves through the town and they said they would get something to drink as we had skipped lunch. Our walk was short and we were surprised to see our guide/driver had sat down for a full restaurant meal. We sat with them and waited but then decided to share a very large empanada. We were concerned now about the time as it was getting late and our itinerary said a vineyard stop. We mentioned this to Mauricio and Jannyna. They said there was no winery stop included on this tour. The guides contacted their supervisor who said we should email him and forward the intnerary we had from the tour company. The posted description for the tour has changed and does not include a vineyard stop. We have not had a response from the agency. Yes we had full day and our guides really did their best. They were friendly and wanted us to have a great day. Which we did. The problem was the tour description was not accurate since we did not get what we paid for such as seeing artisans and a winery stop.
