I denna dagstur får vi uppleva det rika kulturarvet i Hyderabad, pärlstaden. Resplanen täcker det trollbindande Golconda Fort, de majestätiska Qutub Shahi-gravarna, det överdådiga Choumahalla Palace of the Nizams, som en gång var de rikaste människorna på jorden, och den ikoniska Charminar, som är symbolisk för Hyderabad.

Vi leder ut till Golconda, som ligger 11 km bort från Hyderabad City. Golconda fort är förmodligen den största kullen fästningen i Indien. Byggd i AD 1143 som en lera fort, det var befäst mellan 14 och 17 århundraden och fungerade som principen Palace of the Bahmani Sultans och Qutb Shahi dynastin. Vår guide kommer att ge levande historia om detta Fort och hur det formade Hyderabads och dess folkes framtid.
Qutub Shahi-gravarna uppfördes till minne av de gamla kungarna av Golconda. Bågen, kolonnerna, kupolminareterna och gallerierna ser utsökta ut och omges av trädgårdar som kallas Ibrahim Bagh. Enligt legenden vördades dessa gravar under Qutub Shahi-kungarnas styre och även brottslingar som tog sin tillflykt hit benådades.
Vi besöker Choumahalla, Nizams palats som en gång var världens rikaste människor. Några av de anmärkningsvärda delarna i detta palats inkluderar en vattenfontän, veteranbilar, invecklade sniderier, ljuskronor i glas och den stora durbarhallen. Vår nästa destination är Charminar, ett monument som är symboliskt för staden Hyderabad. Our guide was the most knowledgeable guide we have ever had on a tour. He was friendly, and helpful. If I could give him six stars, I would. It was interesting to see the things on the tour. But what made it so interesting was all the information our guide gave us. We feel like we really got a feel for the history of Hyderabad for the last 500 years. Excellent!
My mom aunt and partner thoroughly enjoyed our day discovering Hyderabad with Jolly John! He gave us an authentic experience only a local could.
The guide, Matta, was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and was very easy to understand. I would highly recommend this tour if you have limited time in Hyderabad.
We enjoyed the Golconda Fort and Charminar most. The guide was very informative and knowledgeable. He is very personable as well.
Great way to see Hyderabad on a restricted timescale. Wonderful sights, but felt slightly hurried at times. Guide could have had better English, but was a good standard and informative. He and driver were very considerate and went out of their way to be helpful, showing us additional sites and photo opportunities. Felt very safe with them. Thanks to Azam and Karim for being very attentive and making us feel very welcomed to this fascinating city.

Picked up promptly at my Hotel by Azam, my tour guide, and our driver. Azam skilfully organised the itinerary so that we missed the crowds and made the most of the good weather ( rainy season at present) we saw all the major sights, Charminar, Hussain Sagar lake and Buddha Statue. Golconda Fort, Nizams Palace , Salar Jung Museum, Birla Mandi Temple. We stopped for lunch at 1pm, included in the price. Azam displayed good knowledge of the history of Hyderabad, and nothing was too much trouble. Would thoroughly recommend if you have limited time to see the major sites.

I was very fortunate to be able to go on this tour by Five Senses. We went to many fabulous places in an air conditioned minivan and had a wonderful authentic south Indian lunch in a nice restaurant. The whole experience lasted around 12 hours, and the guides and driver made sure we were all comfortable and having a pleasant experience. We started at the Goconda Fort and finished at the Charminar, and there was much to see in between.
