Alsace är hem till inte mindre än 51 Grand Cru terroirs, där endast de fyra mest prestigefyllda druvsorterna i regionen (Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Gris och Muscat) odlas, med undantag för Sylvaner. Namnen på dessa terroirer är ofta mystiska, och vinmakarna kommer gärna att förklara deras mening och unikhet för dig. Dessa terroirs representerar höjdpunkten av Alsaces vingårdar, med Grand Crus ligger längs hela Alsace vinrutt, alltid på sluttningar med optimal exponering. Under ditt besök hos vinodlarna har du möjlighet att smaka på de olika druvsorterna från Grand Cru-sluttningarna, och ibland även samma druvsort från flera Grand Cru-skiften. Vinmakarna kommer att introducera dig till de viner som är stolta över sina egendomar och kommer att glädja dina smaklökar. Dessa viner stoltserar med ojämförlig elegans och exceptionell aromatisk rikedom, hämtad direkt från jorden där vinstockarna planteras.

Redan 1648 började familjen Wach i vinvärlden genom att arbeta som tunnbindare. Från 1780 diversifierar vinproduktionen affärsverksamheten. Sedan 1988 har yrket som elsassisk vinodlare varit ett heltidsyrken. Vi är angelägna om att bevara kulturarvet i vår region och vi är engagerade i biologisk strategi. Varje Grand Cru - Moenchberg, Wiebelsberg, Kastelberg - säljs efter minst 3 års flasklagring. På så sätt kan vinets olika beståndsdelar harmoniseras. Det är med andra ord en raffineringsprocess, som en osttillverkare.
Familjen Hering har producerat vin i Barr, vinodlingshuvudstaden i Niederrhein, sedan 1858. Vingårdarna ligger i kommunen Barr, i hjärtat av Vogesernas utlöpare. Vinrankorna täcker mer än 10 hektar och odlas med respekt för miljön, för allas välbefinnande. Kirchberg de Barr var en av de 25 Grands Crus som nu utgör en del av historien om elsassiska terroirviner, tillsammans med 26 andra Grands Crus.

Domaine Céline METZ är den nya generationen och fortsättningen på Domaine Hubert METZ. Som den 11:e generationen i godsets historia har vi turen att kunna odla 10 hektar vingårdar, varav 2 i Winzenberg Grand Cru (granit), och att göra vin i en familjekällare med anor från 1728.

We loved our private tour of three vineyards in Alsace! It was an experience that was both informative, interesting, and wonderfully diverse. A huge thank you to our guide, Jean, who was incredibly generous and extremely attentive to all our needs throughout the day. In addition to having us taste excellent wines, he even took the time to create a beautiful photo montage of our day as a keepsake. Really "wow"! I highly recommend this tour 100%. An unforgettable experience!

What a great day this was! Our driver Jean was very personable, very professional, passionate and very knowledgeable about Alsace wines. Communication was very good before and during the tour. Arranged three very good wineries to visit where the vignerons were very giving of their wines and knowledge. Learnt so much!

Incredible experience! This was an exceptional tour of the region with amazing wine visits and Jean was accommodating with every request. We were picked up right by our hotel. The van was stocked with everything you could want- blankets (February), water, snacks, umbrellas. Jean answered our endless questions with knowledge and passion. He took great care of us and made sure we were comfortable all day. We had three wine tastings that we would not have been able to find on our own and our lunch stop was at a local restaurant which was authentic and delicious. Would book this tour again in a second!
