We had a wonderful tour of the Doria Pamphilj Gallery with Vincenzo. He clearly has a deep knowledge, but what really made the experience special was his genuine enthusiasm and care. You can feel how much he loves the place, the history, and the art, and how important it is to him that the group truly enjoys the tour. The explanations were rich and varied – from historical context, to art history, to small anecdotes that brought everything to life. I would absolutely recommend this tour.

Velasquez's portrait of Innocent X alone is worth a visit. Wonderful place full of fabulous works. The art collection of the Pamphilj family is set up as it was customary in the 700s, this while penalizing a little the vision of the works placed on the walls above, makes the visit fascinating because it makes you take a step back in time by reliving the authentic atmosphere of a noble house unlike traditional museums that are sometimes a little aseptic.

Vincent was fab. I hope you know via a completely screwed up. Vincent didn’t get any order from you to meet us. We were lucky enough to be able to reach him on the phone and he rushed over. I had already participated in a truly fantastic walking tour of the Colosseum and the Imperial Forums in 2021, and finding myself in Rome again, I did not hesitate to contact Vincenzo again to carry out another visit with him.
