Galarus Oratory är en bikupahut från 600-talet. Är faktiskt första kristna kyrkan, klostret i Irland. Galarus är ett fantastiskt exempel på hög teknisk teknik från antiken. Byggnad som kapell är byggt med perfekt matchande stenar utan murbruk. Alla stenar är i viss vinkel och tillåter inte att vatten rinner igenom. Insidan är alltid torr även under kraftiga regn. Detta är historien om keltiska ingenjörer som inte ska ses någon annanstans.
Kilmalkedar är associerad med Saint Brendan the Navigator. andra biskopen av Irland efter Saint Patrick. Även med den kända Saint Maolcethair (Malkedar) som dog 636. Byggnad som fortfarande finns där fram till nu är från 1100-talet. För 900 år gammal är i perfekt skick. Kyrkogården runt är också gammal med äkta keltisk solur (fortfarande tickande)
Låt oss se fantastisk utsikt från 1200 meter över havet, mycket nära den. Castlegregory Village och Nordatlanten på ena sidan och charmig Dingle stad och Dingle Bay bakom.

Four adults travelling throughout Ireland scheduled a private tour of Dingle Peninsula. Our driver, Peter, was very knowledgable and accommodating. Before and during the tour, he provided ideas and support for the places we wanted to see. Unfortunately, we had very poor weather the day of the tour, so there were many vistas that were just not possible. However, we made the best of it and enjoyed the day.

Piotr was flexible, knowledgeable and shared Dingle Glass, Coastal Views and Bee Hive House history. In the end we overlooked Killarney Lakes. Great experience!

This was an absolutely fantastic experience for me and my friends during our stay in Killarney. Our guide, Peter, was nothing but incredibly kind, flexible, and full of knowledge on the history of Ireland and the Dingle Peninsula. We stopped at numerous spots including Inch Beach, Slea Head, DingleCrystal, and, per our request, a sheep farm (we got to hold lambs!). Being able to drive the perimeter of the entire peninsula was beautiful. Peter gave us an excellent experience of all and truly made us appreciate the rich history behind it. I would highly highly recommend booking a tour with Peter as your guide—we loved this tour so much and we loved Peter! Without a doubt the highlight of our week in Ireland.

What an amazing trip! My friend and I were able to see so much in one day and yet it never felt rushed. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly, stopping at last-minute locations like cliff-side beaches at our request. We were very lucky, with incredible weather and views the whole day. If you don’t have a car or don’t want to risk driving the narrow roads along the ocean, this tour is a must for seeing a stunning part of Ireland.
This tour will get you around the Dingle area where there is plenty to see. Pitor was an amazing guide and willing to adjust the tour to your request, and he does a great job noticing what your interest is and makes great additional suggestions as recommendations for the tour.
