Clause met us at the Pullman Hotel near the train station, explained the tour, and asked what we wanted to see. The history of Dresden is something we wanted to learn about and he was very knowledgeable about the city and surrounding area. The two hours were just enough of an overview for our group so we could spend time at the numerous Christmas markets!

We were shocked that we had to find our tour guide, who was excellent, because we were told that we could not be met at our hotel. We spent 2 hours before we found the meeting place at which time we were tired and not anxious to go on.
We are sorry Mark, but this was a walking tour and your hotel was 30 minutes walking from the historical center. We decided to meet you at the historical center so you wouldn´t miss a part of the tour on the way from the hotel. We are happy you finally enjoyed the tour anyway. we always try to do our best. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Dresden and was able to answer any questions that we had. She was also able to link the tour of Dresden to a previous tour we had outside of the city and explain the historical connections between the two. Highly recommended if you want to get a more in-depth understanding of the city.
