We booked a personal driver through Mystical Mumbai. We had an amazing time with our driver, Mukesh, who was extremely responsible, attentive, friendly and highly knowledgable about the city. We learnt so much about Mumbai from him during the driving routes. We highly recommend this service, especially for foreigners travelling to Mumbai.

We were in Mumbai for only half a day and initially only wanted a driver to drive us around to malls. but the driver assigned was far more than a driver, he managed to squeeze in many sights as well, making our trip memorable. it was amazing.

Aarti and our driver were a fabulous team, working together and coordinating to make our visit to diverse parts of Mumbai run smoothly and stress-free. Beyond seeing the major sites of the city, Aarti provided commentary that grounded the modern experience of Mumbai in both its colonial past and its complex present: the challenge of day-to-day existence in real neighborhoods, the daily routines and love stories of Mumbai residents, religion and ritual, home industry, and current political realities. Aarti was also very flexible with the day and accommodating of our interests (i.e. we skipped the museum to spend more time exploring the market, where she helped us negotiate the purchase of delicious-smelling spice blends to take home with us). Aarti was also generous with the information she shared with us and answers to our many questions. Highly recommend!

Our guide, Aarti, is a gem! Not only did she help us tour and understand major landmarks, but she lives in the neighborhood and was able to help us understand how Mumbaikar of different backgrounds—from very wealthy to very modest—go about daily life. It was helpful to have the driver and van so we could get around comfortably and efficiently, but mostly Aarti led us in walking among people and seeing their activities up-close. In just 1/2 day, we got an amazingly rich introduction to local culture and history.

We had a very nice day with our local guide Mukesh. He showed us all the highlights during our 6h trip.Mukesh is very knowledgeable and gave us detailed explanations about everything as well as a lot about life in India and Mumbai. He is an excellent driver and we felt safe and comfortable. At the end of the trip he drove us to an excellent restaurant, a great end to the tour. Thank you Mukesh,5 stars for you
