This tour did not live up to the write-up. The private tour was public bus transport and an extreme amount of walking. Since we were on the bus, the guide was challenged to share the tour information. We were charged a fee for a private tour and it was not delivered. The tour operator would not listen to any feedback. Worst tour I've had on Viator.
Our guide, Jonathan, is native of Barcelona so was very knowledgeable about history of the city and historic sites. Enjoyed cable car ride to top of Montjuic. At mountain top, views of the city and sea were magnificent as was touring the fortress and learning of its use through the years. Olympic village was interesting and there are awesome scenes from in front of the art museum. So peaceful and beautiful while enjoying a beverage and snack. Jonathan was great tour guide and we highly recommend the tour.

The tour guide was fabulous and the tour was well worthwhile. From the top of the mountain you get a real sense of Barcelona city and a beautiful understanding of the wars and historic elements that have shaped the city.

I highly recommend this tour with Alex. My husband and I, both in our 70s, had been to Barcelona before and now wanted to concentrate on specific sites. In particular, we wanted to see Montjuic more thoroughly than from a HOHO bus as we had done previously. This private tour conducted by Alex did just that. He was punctual about meeting us at our hotel. We had the experience of riding on the bus, subway, and the cable car. Alex accommodated the pace that we needed to walk as well as providing sufficient time to take breaks in the shade. He spent the time telling us about all the history of the area with illustrations he had gathered. He met all our expectations and allowed us to fulfil one of our bucket list items at our pace.
Gaby was a great tour guide who shared information and details about the areas we visited. Her knowledge and enthusiasm made the tour very enjoyable.
Thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Marta! We got to see and visit so many spots and learned a lot about Montjuic and Barcelona history. Loved getting to ride on the cable car too!
Our tour guide was amazing, he came to pick my mum and I up from the hotel and we took the metro to Montjuic Mountain! We chose the 10:00 start time which was a good idea as we managed to get to Teleferic de Montjuic before most people and got to enjoy panoramic views of Barcelona! He was so knowledgeable and answered all our questions well! We then went to the Olympic Park which was within walking distance, and walked through the park to go to Plaza España!
Our guide met us at our hotel in Barcelona & we rode with her on the subway to Montjuic & then via bus to the Olympic Park and on to the museum. It was a fabulous day. She spoke English well & did a pretty good job with the history & culture of the things we visited. (She's still learning the detailed history but she did a terrific job.) She had a fun personality & gave us a nice tour.
