Mahane Yehuda Market illustrerar mångfalden i det israeliska samhället och maten från de olika etniska grupperna som är resultatet. Mellan en tugga Sabich och en tugga Kenafe får vi höra historien om marknadens grundare, de olika matvarorna och om konstnären som en kväll bestämde sig för att dekorera butikerna med graffiti och förvandla marknaden till ett galleri.

Vi kommer att turnera i ett av stadsdelarna i Nachlaot och förstå varför det fanns ett behov av en marknad i närheten.
Vi kommer att smaka på utmärkt israelisk mat och dryck från de olika butikerna på marknaden och lära oss om det israeliska samhället genom dem. Kom hungrig!

Orna was amazing! Both at the Davidson Center and at the shuk tour, she was very focused on everyone’s needs. She was great with the adults and children in our group. We had a fun and educational experience!

Orna was terrific. Intelligent, educated and fun to be with. Her command of the history and religions in Jerusalem is nothing short of extraordinary. And, she is so personable, that halfway through the tour it felt more like she was family. If you tour Jerusalem with her BE SURE to end it with her culinary tour of the Mahane Yahuda market.
