Meiji Jingu Shrine är en av Tokyos mest ikoniska och betydelsefulla Shinto-helgedomar, belägen i Harajuku. Vi går tillsammans till huvudbyggnaden av Meiji Jingu Shrine medan vi lär oss om kulturen och historien. Vi kommer också att lära oss om några traditionella japanska ritualer.
Efter Meiji Jingu-helgedomen åker vi till Harajuku och tar den berömda och färgglada Takeshita-gatan. Takeshita Street är en livlig och ikonisk shoppinggata belägen i Harajuku-distriktet i Tokyo och massor av shopping- och matmöjligheter. (Hitta rainbow sockervadd eller bajsglass)
Fortsätter till Harajukus Street-Style Wonderland: Dyk in i den pulserande och eklektiska modescenen i Harajuku, där varje gata är en landningsbana. Fördjupa dig i kalejdoskopet av färger, stilar och ungdomlig energi som definierar Tokyos trendsättande distrikt. Vi åker till Tokyu Plaza för att ta några fantastiska bilder! Nästa kommer Shibuya att passera den trendiga och fashionabla Cat Street.
Shibuya Crossing Spectacle: Upplev Tokyos pulserande hjärta vid den berömda Shibuya Crossing. Gå med i publikens rytm när du navigerar i världens mest trafikerade korsning och bevittnar stadens livliga urbana energi. Innan vi står inför den livliga och största korsningen i världen gör vi ett kort stopp i den nya Miyashita-parken. Vi kan ta en kaffe eller njuta av atmosfären på taket!
(En del av 5 & 7 timmars rundtur) Asakusa är där Tokyos förflutna kommer till liv. Med sitt ikoniska Senso-ji-tempel, sina rickshaws, sina traditionella snacksstånd och sin Edo-tidsatmosfär erbjuder detta distrikt en levande inblick i stadens historiska själ. Men låt dig inte luras, bortom den gamla världens charm ligger en livlig, modern stadsdel med bra street food, utsikt över floden och roliga lokala upplevelser.
(En del av 7-timmarsturen) Ueno Park ligger i nordöstra Tokyo och är en av stadens mest älskade grönområden, känd för sitt rika kulturella utbud och säsongsbetonade skönhet. Ursprungligen en del av Kaneiji Temple, blev parken allmän mark 1873 och har nu breda stigar, museer och över 1000 körsbärsträd! I närheten av Ueno Station hittar du livliga shopping gator som Ameya-Yokocho, som erbjuder lokala snacks, souvenirer och mode. Området blandar historia och vardagsliv, vilket gör det perfekt för en avslappnad dag av upptäcktsfärder.
(En del av 7-timmarsturnén) Det som började som en svart marknad för radiodelar efter kriget har vuxit till en av de mest levande och unika stadsdelarna i Tokyo. Akihabara är en lekplats för teknikälskare och popkulturfans, där du hittar allt från den senaste elektroniken till underground animevaror.

My husband and I came to Tokyo for the first time. So we decided to go on a private guided tour for the start of our trip. We chose this tour to get a decent overview of Tokyo and its habits. Wonderfully comprehensive tour with tons of valuable info. Jero is one of the best tour guides i've ever had (and i've had many!) We were able to see so much during our time with him. He took pictures and videos along the way and then air dropped them to my phone. We have already scheduled a second tour and are looking forward to it!

Booking this tour was the best decision of our trip to Japan. We couldn't have had a better start. Jero picked us up at the hotel and his open, warm and sympathetic nature immediately took us for him. With an enthusiastic “There’s so much to do here!” he led us confidently and thrillingly into the middle of this overwhelming city. It's incredible what you can see and experience in four hours. Thanks to Jero, we sent wishes on our way to the Meiji Shrine, enjoyed cotton candy and ramen, swung katana, chatted about life in Tokyo over coffee on rooftop terraces, admired cozy neighborhoods and modern high-rises, wandered through yokochas (lanes full of izakayas), browsed department stores, got wonderful photo memories (Jero takes great photos), to name a few. Besides, we would never have discovered many insider tips, such as viewpoints of the Shibuya crossing, without him. Jero is by far the greatest guide we have ever experienced. Immerse yourself in the many facets of Tokyo at his side is a gift. It is not only his almost inexhaustible knowledge of the culture, history, places and people and his passionate enthusiasm for his city and Japanese culture, but above all his authentic, warm and so incredibly attentive way of giving his guests the feeling of having a good friend by his side.
