Privat Kunjapuri Sunrise Tour

This was my first guided trek in Himalayas. The pick up was on time, The guide Ankush was very knowledgeable about the terrain, Coming downhill from Kunjapuri is not for the faint hearted and it requires prior trekking experience, you experience one if amazing view of the green Himalayas ,there were certain patches which was narrow and requires caution, but Ankush gave prior notice , which helped me a lot, he wa s friendly and genuinely great guide. I highly recommend this trek if you have no knee issues and love exploring nature. Lastly, the sunrise at Kunjapuri temple was so beautiful , that will stick on to my memory for ever.

I highly encourage this tour! See the beauty, and get some exercise hiking down the mountain! It’s a bit steep, so use proper shoes with traction.

Our guides were fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely enjoyable to spend the day with. They picked us up early, kept a comfortable pace throughout the hike, and shared interesting information about the area along the way. Unfortunately, heavy fog limited the views during our visit, but that’s simply part of being in the mountains. You can hardly expect the guides to keep us on track AND control the weather! From breakfast to the waterfalls, the entire experience was outstanding. Easily an 11/10, and I’d happily do it again.

Exceptional experience with brilliant guides Manoj and Sunil, great communication from Map the Himalayas company beforehand confirming timings and pickup location. The sunrise view was incredible and having a cup of chai while watching was great. The walk was a fabulous experience and the guides also took care to ensure we were safe as well. Brilliant driver too and comfortable vehicle- would highly recommend- thank you!!!

It's too much awkward place nothing to see there some kind of man made place, nothing to see here natural...in 2025 December i visited there it's totally a man made spot...nothing is natural here... If you are willing to come here kindly don't come.. You will disappoint here..

This was a very rewarding experience provided by knowledgeable professionals who did everything possible to make this a memorable experience. This 6 hour long day began with pick up at 0500 from our hotel and drop off at 1300. The physical fitness required to complete the trek was well worth the effort.

Guide was there , very professional and explained story of the Hindu gods. We are older and he took his time climbing steps

This trip was amazing! The views from the temple at sunrise were just incredible! I was meant to go with a friend but unfortunately they couldn’t make it last minute. Rahul my guide was great, we trekked down the mountain together and he was such a great help. I had the best morning.

Such an absolutely wonderful experience! Kaly and everyone at Mapping the Himalayas did a great job from the booking to the completion of this event. Kaly answered all of my questions as a first time visitor to India and even helped me with a matter involving a local cab company. Watching the sunrise and then catching a glimpse of the Himalayas was breathtaking. Ankush was the best possible hiking/trekking guide I could have asked for. His warm and kind manner made me feel comfortable and well taken care of throughout the whole hike. As a solo female traveler I appreciated these guys so much! Ankush even caught my arm as I slipped on the rocks at one point keeping me from sliding further down. I valued how he shared his knowledge about the local plants, people and customs too. So enjoyed taking a break at the waterfall with my feet in the cool water at the end. This is not a beginner or an easy hike but if you love hiking and being in nature you will love it! I highly recommend Mapping the Himalayas and any of the adventures they offer.
