En liten Church of Our Lady of Health är en av de äldsta i Rovinj och utanför. Fasaden tar oss tillbaka till mitten av 1700-talet; den är gjord av element i barockstil och inredd i pastellfärger.
St. Euphemia-kyrkan är värd ett besök eftersom den ligger på toppen av kullen och på grund av den fantastiska utsikten från klocktornets utsiktspunkt. Där förväntar vi oss att se vad som finns i marmorsarkofagen, och vi kommer att veta en legend om henne.
Grisiagatan är värd att besöka eftersom den utropas som en "konstnärsgata", där vi förväntar oss att se konstevenemang som hålls varje år som ställer ut konstnärer från hela Kroatien och Europa.
Batana-museet är nästan helt tillägnat historien om Batana, en gammal fiskebåt. Det är under UNESCO-skydd, och dessutom är det fortfarande skyddat i många hamnar längs Istriens kust. (Besök utifrån)
Balbi Arch är värt ett besök eftersom det står på platsen för den gamla stadsporten, där vi förväntar oss att se att ena sidan av Balbi Arch har ett utskuret huvud av en turk medan den andra har det snidade huvudet av en venetianare.
Califfi familjens palats är en vacker herrgård grundad på 1600-talet, dessutom är det ett huvudstadsmuseum. (Besök utifrån)
En smal gata som leder rakt till havsstranden genom stadens byggnader. Förmodligen den mest Instagrammedade gatan i Rovinj.

We got to know about the cultural and historical "layers" that form a part of the "fabric" of the Rovinj city, thanks to an awesome tour guide. We had brief rests, took photographs, during the uphill walk. The surrounding archipelago view is amazing. Memorable walking tour.
We learnt about Rovinj's fishing heritage and its Venetian influences especially in the local architecture. Our guide highlighted local traditions and also pointed out where the best local products could be found.

One of my favorite moments in this walking tour was strolling down the Grisia street, which had artistic galleries and very creative local artisans. The guide allowed us to enjoy the sights and sounds without feeling rushed. Highly recommend this tour to anyone on a visit to Croatia.
