Ge dig ut på en kort bilresa till Kampong Phluk Fishing Village. Du kommer att njuta av utsikt över landsbygden, ett buddhistiskt tempel och en grundskola, och besöka byns marknad kommer du att se vardagen för byborna. Ta sedan en kort båtkryssning genom fiskebyn och Mangroveträden till den vackra Tonle Sap Lake, världens näst största sötvattensjö. Vi stannar till vid ett flytande hus för att se de vackra omgivningarna. Härnäst vandrar du genom byn för att se bybornas dagliga aktiviteter där. Du kommer att se husen byggda på höga styltor, barnen leker människor lagar mat och andra spontana aktiviteter. Detta traditionella byliv har i stort sett varit oförändrat i århundraden. Detta är en blandad aktivitetsresa ”All in One Journey” och kommer att få alla att njuta av de nya upplevelserna och den stora inblicken i Kambodjas kultur och historia.

Du kommer också att stanna för att besöka en lokal marknad som ligger vid floden Bank of Rolous. Rolous Market är en av de viktiga marknaderna där de lokala byborna åker dit på morgonen och sen eftermiddag för att köpa färska grönsaker, kött, frukt, sötvattensfisk samt hushållsartiklar. Det är den äldsta khmermarknaden i det området och ett måste-besök för dem som vill uppleva den lokala livsstilen
Kampong Plouk är ett utmärkt resmål för turister att besöka de översvämmade mangroveträden och skogarna och de flytande byarna. Besök den vackra Tonle Sap, sjön är den 2: a största sötvattensjön i världen. Denna sjö är livsnerven i landet och den primära källan till fisk och protein för större delen av den kambodjanska befolkningen. Besök den översvämmade skogen och de flytande byarna. Du kommer att se en flytande fiskeby som rör sig när vattennivån stiger och sjunker under året. Din lokala guide kommer att förklara för dig den dagliga livsstilen och arbetet för en lokal som bor på land och på vatten. Samhället är till stor del beroende av fiske för att överleva, främst räkor, och spendera Kambodjas våta säsong med fiske. Många hus och byggnader är byggda på pålar som sträcker sig från 6 m till 9 m för att tillgodose förändringarna i vattennivån mellan våta och torra årstider. Under torrperioden (november-april) när floden förtunnas på grund av vattenavtagande, vänder sig många till jordbruk för att komplettera sin inkomst. Turismen, som startade i byn för cirka 10 år sedan, är också en växande del av den lokala ekonomin.

This is a great half day tour! Sim and our driver were fantastic. On time pickup, very professional, and informative. The local marker tour is interesting and the boat ride is a lot of fun. Highly recommend!

The trip was really interesting. As well as the village, we visited a local market and had a boat ride on the lake, visiting a crocodile farm. Our guide told us lots about Cambodia, local life and the importance of the lake to the 1.3 million people who live around it. I would highly recommend this trip.

Excellent tour with Arun as a guide. Extremely informative. Pick up from hotel was smooth and on time, car was great and the stops on the way at local small town markets, a great insight. The stilt village and boat trip exceeded expectations.

We made a late booking just evening before the morning tour. Were very happy to have an available slot. Website booking was easy and confirmation was clear. Pickup from hotel was fussfree and very punctual. Our guide: Mr Sim Sokoan was very patient and thorough. He explained clearly what the half day trip was and the timings to expect. The trip is really value for money. This was one of the most reasonable rates, and we were so surprised that it was a private tour for only 2 of us! The private tour was fantastic. The tour guide speaks fluent english and tells a lot of interesting facts. We could ask him anything about Cambodia. There were no other tourists at the local market. We tasted different types of fruit. In the tuktuk was free cool water. The floated village was very beautifull and it was interesting to walk around the not floated part aswell. Highly recommend.
