London är så fantastiskt men hektiskt, så varför inte ha en avkopplande dag på den Engelska landsbygden istället, besöka The Cotswolds & beyond, på en Downton Abbey tema turné. Vi besöker Highclere Castle, trädgårdar och trädgårdar, hem för Lord & Lady Grantham, Lady Mary & änkan (SLOTT / trädgård biljetter ingår inte och måste köpas av kunden) Vi turnerar sedan de vackra Cotswold byar & landsbygd som Downton Abbey tog till våra skärmar i både TV & film och är en verkligt anmärkningsvärd plats. Vi stannar till vid affärer, kyrkor, salutorg, halmtaksstugor, byhus, cricketgreener & rosenträdgårdar. Lunch kan intas på en Old Engelska Pub där du kan koppla av, äta kanske fish n chips eller några lokala ale? Eller så kan vi ta dig till en mycket Engelska Garden tea shop ... valet är både ditt och oändligt! Eftermiddagen tillbringas sedan med att köra genom mer landsbygd och byar, med chaufför från din alldeles egna "Branson", innan du återvänder till din egen bostadsort medan du lyssnar på musik som du väljer.

Vi går runt i den förtjusande Downton Abbey byn i utkanten av Cotswolds & besöker St Marys kyrka, The Crawley house, Village Green & se var så många scener filmades i fantastiska Bampton.

Du kommer att se interiören & trädgårdarna där Granthams bodde & där så mycket av Downton-dramat utspelade sig. BILJETTER TILLGÄNGLIGA VIA HIGHCLERE CASTLE HEMSIDA.
Besök den pittoreska byn Shilton, som är den bildvykortsplats där Mr Bates fördes tillbaka till Downton när den osmakliga mordanklagelsen riktades mot honom av hans fru. Komplett med vadställe, trädgårdar och arkitektur. detta är en verkligt härlig stopp.
Vi söker upp den mest romantiska puben i The Cotswolds där Tom Branson & Lady Sybil rymde till❤️. Swinbrook är i sig en härlig by & vi kan besöka puben och trädgården också, för en ale, vin eller kaffe.
Förutom Downton-upplevelsen besöker/kör vi också genom den enastående naturliga skönheten i The Cotswolds oavsett vilken tid som blir över. Detta inkluderar normalt en timme för lunch om det behövs.

Wonderful dream trip for our family. It was so personalized and flexible for our family's interests. Our driver even took our packages that we bought at the gift shop back to the car for us and took pictures for us as well. We had a blast!
Barry gave us an excellent tour through London and its surrounding communities. He explained the populations, the architecture and brought the areas to life. He then took us to Highclere Castle and the surrounding villages where they filmed Downton Abbey. It was a fantastic experience.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience on our Private Guided Full Day Downton Abbey Tour from London! Our tour guide, Barry, was first-rate and provided so much more value than just a standard trip to the Downton Abbey villages. During our transit through London, he took the time to point out and expertly narrate the sites along the way. He also provided a wonderful, detailed history about various Cotswold villages both before and after our stop in Bampton. To top it all off, the lunch reservation he made for us was absolutely spot on. It was a lovely local restaurant that served delicious food and perfectly accommodated our party of six. Andrew was our tour guide. He picked us up at our hotel near Heathrow, giving us a bit more time at some stops, including an unplanned one in Oxford. Andrew was engaging, full of information, and flexible towards our interests. We knew in advance that we could not see Highclere because it was closed for the season, but he substituted that stop with Blenheim Castle, where we enjoyed a beautiful afternoon high tea. Andrew had clips from Downton Abbey for each of the stops so that we could see what was filmed at these stops. Overall it was a fabulous trip and I highly recommend using Barry Tours and Andrew as a guide.

This was such a great tour! Our driver helped us so much from helping us find where to book the tickets for inside the castle, to taking us to some of the most charming places that were in the movie. She helped us store all our gift bags and even brought us water and chocolate. She was so thoughtful and kind. I would definitely recommend this tour!

Steven Cahill was a tour guide from London to Highclere Castle. He did a fantastic job entertaining us with Downton Abbey trivia and all the fun things about the shows. He got us there in plenty of time to take our pictures at various locations throughout the property and bought us some biscuits from the gift shop. We had a great day!
