Här finns Nederländernas mest speciella väderkvarnar som färgväderkvarnen, sågverket, kryddkvarnen och jordnötsoljan. Din chaufför/värd tar dig till den unika träskofabriken där du får se hur vi tillverkar de ursprungliga holländska träskorna. Det finns möjlighet att köpa träskor och några fina souvenirer också. Därefter är det dags att smaka mer än 30 typer av mycket trevlig holländsk ost gratis! Ditt nästa stopp blir Giethoorn, det holländska Venedig. Du kommer att ha en guidad kanalkryssning i en stor båt eller så kan du välja att köra en liten båt själv. Vänligen informera din förare/värd vad du föredrar.

Upptäck de stora holländska väderkvarnarna och ta några fina bilder av dem. Det finns 7 väderkvarnar kvar vid Zaanse Schans och några är öppna för besök. Du kan besöka färgväderkvarnen (det är där Rembrandt, den store holländska konstnären köpte sin färg), en sågkvarn, en kryddkvarn och många fler. Entré till väderkvarnsparken och parkeringskostnader ingår i denna tur.
Lär dig mer om den holländska träskotillverkningen och se en demonstration av hur de gör holländska träskor nu. Det finns möjlighet att köpa träskorna, träskorna och andra souvenirer även i träskofabriken.
Se den speciella färgkvarnen inifrån. Detta är den sista fungerande väderkvarnen på jorden som kan producera färg. Rembrandt, den store holländska konstnären, köpte sin färg på denna väderkvarn.
Smaka en av de bästa speciella Gouda ost nu! Du kan äta så mycket ost du vill gratis. Det finns mer än 30 olika typer av ost, så njut! Det finns möjlighet att köpa osten och om du inte har tillräckligt med plats i din resväska kan du låta dem skicka osten till ditt land.

We had an excellent experience with Martijn at Zaans Schans and Geithoorn today. Martijn is also a great photographer. We highly recommend this tour.
The tour spends too much time driving from one place to another. Our driver knew very little about the sites we saw. His command of the English language was less than average and not what was needed. Our driver/tour guide drove entirely too fast and we felt that we were in danger due to his driving.
Dear Richard, Thank you for your review. I spoke with your driver/host and he just let me know that you gave you a lot of information about the Windmills and Giethoorn. On the canal cruise in Giethoorn the driver of the boat gave you the information about Giethoorn and guided you. Correct the drive from Amsterdam to Giethoorn is approx 80 minutes but we can't do anything about the distance.
To start off. Viator made booking our Private Giethoorn & Zaanse Schans Windmills Sightseeing Tour from Amsterdam a breeze. Our driver Hamza was very prompt and our pick up was a breeze. Hamza was very thoughtful and attentive thru out our trip. He ensured that our experience was a 5 star one. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. My family and I (kids 8 and 14) had an amazing time. Giethoorn was beautiful and the windmills were amazing. The whole experience is one that we will never forget. Highly recommend you book this private tour and ask for Hamza when you do.

Giethoorn is amazing. The drive was smooth, the car large and comfortable. My niece was visiting me in Amsterdam, I had been there for about 2 months for work and I decided to take this private tour, even though I had been to Zaanse Schans on one of the big bus tours. This is an excellent way to see both Giethoorn and Zaanse Schans. Having more time is nice, and being able to linger or go early beats the bus tour in many ways. The driver/guide was great company and I got to see a lot of things in Zaanse Schans that the big bus tour missed. I think unless you are able to drive yourself, this is the best way to see both places. The Giethoorn boat tour was great also, not so busy when we were there, Covid and all. We were the only ones on the boat. Great experience overall.
