Tidigare romerska tempel, nu en kyrka, i Rom, Italien, på platsen för ett tidigare tempel, som Marcus Agrippa beställde under Augustus regering (27 f.Kr. - 14 e.Kr.). Det var färdigt av kejsaren Hadrian och troligen hängiven omkring 126 AD. Dess byggnadsdatum är osäkert, eftersom Hadrian valde att inte skriva in det nya templet utan snarare att behålla inskriptionen av Agrippas äldre tempel, som hade brunnit ner.
På botten av Spanska trappan är en av de mest kända torg i Rom. Den är skyldig till Palazzo di Spagna, plats för Spaniens ambassad bland helgedomen. Den imponerande 135-stegiga trappan invigdes under 1700-jubileet; 1721-1725) och förbinder den spanska ambassaden Bourbon (från vilken torget tar sitt namn) till Trinità dei Monti-kyrkan.
Det är den största barock fontänen i staden och en av de mest kända fontänerna i världen. Fontänen har dykt upp i flera anmärkningsvärda filmer, inklusive Federico Fellinis La Dolce Vita, de eponymous Three Coins i Fontänen, The Lizzie McGuire Movie, Sabrina Goes till Rom och Roman Holiday.

Driver in Rome did not disappoint! They were communicative and extremely responsive! We had a large group transfer to airport and to other ports and locations. We had 3 transfers total! The drivers were knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend this transfer team! And the price was reasonable!

Matteo was prompt to the port and communicated well. He got a close to all the attractions so we didn't have to walk too far (European heatwave). Stopped at or drove by everything we wanted to see. Highly recommend for a private day.

Our time with Matteo for our half day “Best of Rome” tour was exactly what we hoped it would be. We had very minimal time to spend in Rome and Matteo knew exactly how to maximize the experience with the time that we had. Airport pickup was a breeze even though there were long immigration lines. Had the best experience with Claudio. He picked us up from the Fco airport and drove us around to sight see in Rome and wow we got to see historic parts which was very entertaining and also educational as Claudio is full of knowledge after our tour he dropped us off at our port in Civitavecchia. This was perfect for us as we had 4 hours before we could board the ship so we opted in for the tour right from the airport and we are very glad we did !

Our Driver Fabio was amazing. He was on time and available as soon as we got off the plane. Brought us to several beautiful spots. Vehicle was comfortable, air conditioned and clean. He had water bottles waiting in the vehicle as well. He was very informative about each location. I would recommend him and viator 100%

We used Driver in Rome twice, On July 6, they picked us at Fiumincino Airport and 2 hr tour before taking us to our VRBO apartment in Roma. The second time was when we had returned from the ship on July 13th and were staying at the Hilton Garden Inn at the airport to take the plane back home the next day. On the spur of the moment, my wife, daughter and granddaughter wanted to go shopping so I contacted DIR and in 10 mins they were able to arrange a 4 hr personal shopping tour with a wonderful driver/guide. Both times, the service couldn't have been better. Drivers were personable, professional knowledgeable and spoke english better than I. You can't miss with Driver in Rome!!

What a great way to get an overview of Rome. Our driver, Lucio, was very knowledgeable and filled us in on a lot of history of the city. He got us as close as possible to all the sites, and added a few surprise destinations. We highly recommend this tour, and Lucio!
