Vår chaufför hämtar dig vid fartyget. Vi kommer att besöka Portovenere, Vernazza och Corniglia - tre av de vackraste och mest vägledande platserna i Cinque Terre-området. Vi har valt dem för att de är ganska platta, så de är hanterbara även för dem som använder rörelsehjälpmedel. I slutet av dagen gör vi ett snabbt stopp i Pisa. Att ta färjan för att resa från Portovenere till Vernazza är ett alternativ (extra kostnad). Portoveneres historia är lång och intressant och går tillbaka till 1: a århundradet f.Kr., men de flesta människor tycker helt enkelt om det för sin charm. De viktigaste attraktionerna är den imponerande 1300-talskyrkan St. Peter med dess slående svarta och vita ränder och de färgglada radhusen längs småbåtshamnen som får en att tänka på Portofino. Litteraturälskare kommer att komma ihåg att Lord Byron simmade över La Spezia-bukten från grottan som nu är uppkallad efter honom för att besöka Percy Bysshe Shelley 1822. Portovenere har utvecklats från fiskesamhället under romartiden till bas av den bysantiniska flottan efter det västra romerska imperiets fall till porten till Cinque Terre idag: ett levande bildvykort med frodig grön terräng uppsatt mot det lysande blå havet.
Vernazza är kanske den mest populära av byarna Cinque Terre. Marinaområdet är mycket livligt, med massor av terrasser där du kan njuta av en förfriskning eller ett mellanmål. Du kommer sannolikt att vara i Vernazza vid lunchtid (beror på upphämtningstid), och det finns många bra restauranger med skaldjur och det utmärkta lokala vitt vin. Huvudgatan i Vernazza är ett bra ställe att shoppa eller pausa för lite gelato (glass). För arkitektoniska sevärdheter finns Castello Doria, Vernazza medeltida befästning. Klättra upp Belvedere Tower för fantastisk utsikt (liten entréavgift). Kyrkan Santa Margherita di Antiochia är också värd ett besök: enkelt men mycket vackert.
Av alla byarna i Cinque Terre har Corniglia bäst bibehållit sin medeltida aspekt. Det är den enda byn som sitter högt på klipporna, som inte kan nås med färja. De smala gatorna är trevliga att promenera, och lite god gelato (glass) finns i Corniglia. Det finns några härliga kyrkor, men den bästa platsen i byn på den offentliga terrassen med panoramautsikt uppåt och längs kusten.
På Pisas "Campo dei Miracoli" hittar du inte bara det lutande tornet utan också katedralen, dopkyrkan och kyrkogården, som alla är anmärkningsvärda monument. Om du vill gå in i campo santo eller dopkyrkan för akustikdemonstrationen på timme och halvtimme bör biljetter bokas i förväg. Vi gör gärna detta på din begäran (extra kostnad).

The driver we had was good, professional etc. The van was also very nice and the driver had cold waters for us. The roads were challenging and the driver handled them no problem, but this tour didn't live up to the description. We spent too much time in the van and too little time at the sites. We even didn't go to one of the locations since the driving took more time than expected. I think overall the concept of this tour is flawed going from Livorno all the way to Cinque Terre just takes too much time. Also I would not recommend this with teens. It should be noted we took a similar tour in Rome that was not only better time use wise, but the Rome tour was also half as much. One thing that Rome tour did was recommend and arrange a lunch place - this not only lead to better food but no waiting for a table which helped with the time management.
Stefano was incredible. We really enjoyed having him with us for the day. He was very careful driving very patient with the children and very kind to us telling us lots of information about where we were . He was prompt and very courteous. We definitely recommend this to everyone.

We were wanting to see the Cinque Terre for many years. We decided that this year, during our 42nd wedding anniversary it was a great time to see it. Our guide, Paolo, was wonderful! He was very informative, a great driver, spoke English and made it fun!! We will remember him always & recommend this trip to anyone who is wanting to see the area.

Incredible views and hit some beautiful areas. Our guide was fun and interesting and knowledgeable. Was also very flexible with timing and where we wanted to go.
There is no tour guide - just basically a driver. We signed up with what I thought was a trip to Pisa and 3 villages in Cinque Terre. The day before received a call from the tour company that we signed up for a tour out of the wrong port (we were on a cruise ship) therefore we would not be able to go to Pisa because of the distance- just the 3 villages in Cinque Terre and because it was late notice, we couldn’t reschedule or get a refund for not being able to complete the whole tour. The driver was very nice and courteous and did his best to answer any questions we had. The tour was good if you basically just want a driver - but if you are looking for someone to give you a little knowledge of the area and the sites, this tour is not for you.
Michelle, Thanks for your feedback. I take issue with a couple of your points, however, which I will respond to for the benefit of anyone who might be considering this service. The tour is advertised as having an English-speaking driver. A separate tour guide is not included. The basic information that your driver gave you is really all you need to know. What you got was precisely what is outlined in the description. Seeing as you booked a service from the wrong port and didn't even notice until our fleet manager caught the error, it appears you might not have been paying enough attention to the information presented. We did not have any discussion about rescheduling, which I suppose is only logical, seeing as you're on a cruise ship. I don't know what sort of refund you would have expected. It was you who made the mistake when you made your booking; you booked Easy Cinque Terre & Pisa from LIVORNO, but we don't offer that service from La Spezia. We substituted the closest thing, after we discussed it and you were in agreement. I don't see how we can be found at fault with respect to this. Because time was short, I suggested keeping your booking as it was instead of going through all the girations to cancel and rebook it through Viator. I made the adjustments on our side, saving you a bunch of time and hassle. It also saved you money, as I explained to you on the phone. In light of the fact that we bent over backward to rectify an error that was not ours in a satisfactory way -- with your consent , and in a way that also saved you time, hassle, and money -- I have to confess I'm a bit perplexed by your review, but I thank you again for the opportunity to have an exchange that might benefit the next client. Fernando, our driver, was excellent, getting us to the sites quickly and efficiently. Was very accommodating to all our requests. The tour was great, with very picturesque locations. The whole family really enjoyed the experience, would definitely recommend.
A lot of incline walking up and down and cobblestone roads did not make for easy travel for two elderly relatives (and Easy was the reason we chose this for a family tour.)
