Sigiriya eller Sinhagiri är en gammal klippfästning som ligger i norra Matale-distriktet nära staden Dambulla i Centralprovinsen, Sri Lanka. Namnet syftar på en plats av historisk och arkeologisk betydelse som domineras av en massiv stenpelare som är nästan 200 meter hög.
Dambulla grotttemplet även känt som Dambullas gyllene tempel är ett världsarv i Sri Lanka, beläget i den centrala delen av landet. Denna plats ligger 148 kilometer öster om Colombo och 72 kilometer norr om Kandy. Dambulla är det största och bäst bevarade grotttempelkomplexet i Sri Lanka.

Wonderful sigiriya tour with safari organised by operator. It is a private tour. Very affordable and comfortable ride. The driver was very friendly. The team who manages this is kind and helpful. Definitely recommended. Right from pickup to drop at the hotel was smoothly planned and executed.

We took this one day tour from Colombo. The Driver wasa was very flexible to our request and helped a lot to arrange the guide at Sigiriya rock as well.The team contacted me before the tour day and provided all details. "A beautiful landmark worth the 3.5 hour journey in each direction. Easy to fill up the day with safari activity if you want to spend money, but I think the sigiriya and the Dambulla cave temple are must sees. Be firm with the ""tour guides"" telling them you're not interested or they'll follow you around and expect a tip afterward. Overall fantastic experience from start to end and you must do this."
It was far too long a journey and couldn’t complete itinerary as ran out of time and delayed getting back to hotel missed dinner to late to eat as driver queued for 45 minutes to fill up car in petrol station wasting our time when he could’ve filed up whilst waiting for us at one of the activities - totally unacceptable!
Amazing tour! Very accommodating and helpful and it was so fun seeing wild elephants and peacocks in park. The safari driver Santha was amazing. So good spotting so many animals and the visiting Sigiriya lions rock.
Great sigiriya tour from colombo. Really love the experience and the itinerary .because the itinerary itself perfect for 3 activities including safari. Admission was cheap and not expensive and its worthy .
