Privat dagstur till Peles slott, Draculas slott och Brasov

Had a fabulous day with our driver, Emanuel. He knew a lot of history and a lot of jokes! His English is excellent, so there was never any trouble communicating. The castles were amazing and well worth the trip out from Bucharest, as was the different scenery on the way.

Emanuel is a wonderful guide and driver. Upon booking, he contacted us about purchasing tickets for Peles Castle because tickets are limited for a time slot and often sell out. Emanuel met us early at our hotel and provided water and chocolates as welcome gifts. He shared information about Romania while driving us to the castles, including personal anecdotes from growing up with the communist regime. We were traveling with someone that had difficulty walking up many stairs and Emanuel kindly let us know that the path for Bran's castle is steep. He recommended a cafe within the castle grounds for our family member to wait while the rest of us trekked up. The way back had a lot of traffic and while we fell asleep, Emanuel continued strong and brought us back from the mountains safely. We are very fortunate to have met Emanuel and greatly appreciate him taking such sincere care of us.

Emmanuel is very knowledgeable about the history, culture and geopolitical context and journey of the area. He is also an excellent host and provided seamless transitions throughout the day to maximize our comfort and experience. Highly recommend!

Emanuel is a wonderful guide! Pleasant and knowledgeable, and a very good driver! We thoroughly enjoyed the Peles and Bran castles, great time spent in Transylvania. He took us also to the central square of Brasov, very impressive area! The lunch suggestion of Ceaun, for authentic Romanian food and wine was spot on!! Thanks for a great day!!

Our guide Emanuel was super friendly and professional. He is very well informed about Romania’s history and pointed out little gems along the journey. He certainly kept us entertained throughout the journey. As for the landmarks, it was nice to see contrasts between Peles Castle and Bran Castle given the different time periods of their construction and the quaint city centre of Brasov gave us a nice escape from the hustle and bustle of Bucharest. Definitely recommend!

Really great day trip with Adrian. We got to see Pele’s castle and Bran (Dracula’s) castle and really enjoyed both. Weather was great. Long drive from Bucharest but worth it. Highly recommend!

Enjoyed our Visit to Peles Castle, Dracula’s Castle & Braşov. Our guide Emanuel was excellent. His advise to get the Peles Castle ticket online saved our time and also to book the time slot. Highly recommend to get the fast trac on Dracula’s Castle too.

Can’t recommend this day trip with Emmanuel enough! It is absolutely worth doing a private tour over a group tour for this trip - it saves a ton of time and you have more flexibility. Emmanuel was fantastic - so knowledgable about Romania’s history, a great sense of humour and a brilliant guide. We had the best day with him! We drove for 1hr30 to Peleş Castle, approx 1hr to Bran Castle and then approx 30 mins to Braşov. We had plenty of time in each place to tour and see everything, with Emmanuel being totally flexible on meeting us when we were done. Our drive back to Bucharest was approx 3hrs (Sunday traffic!), but on all of our drives, Emmanuel was taking interesting routes, showing us different towns and communities and giving us a wealth of fascinating information. We were out for 12hrs in total - it’s a full day so don’t try to make any more plans that day. Overall a brilliant day and strongly recommend taking this private tour with Emmanuel!

Perfect day trip to visit two beautiful places. Guide was exceptional. Free time in Brasov for lunch and exploring. Great day!
