Turen börjar från kryssningsfartyg som lägger till i Mombasa hamn och vi tar dig tillbaka till hamnen i tid för vidare resor: Fort Jesus Historical Museum, Gamla stan, promenad på marknaden och lunch i en lokal matrestaurang i Mombasa, Mombasa Giant elephant Tusk monument och eftermiddagsbesök i Hallerparken.

Du kommer att hämtas från hamnen och föras till Fort Jesus. Detta är Mombasas äldsta museum och det skildrar lokalbefolkningens kultur och ursprung, och nämner Swahilis ursprung. Med en guide kommer du att kunna spåra det historiska mönstret som leder till sultanernas inflytande. Dessutom kommer du att lära dig lokalbefolkningens kultur genom olika utställningar. Du kommer att njuta av en promenad på smala gator i Mombasas gamla stadsdel, passera genom den berömda fiskmarknaden innan du kör för att se elefantbetarna som ett monument av den gamla (nu olagliga) elfenbenshandeln. Efter kommer du sedan att gå på marknaden med lunch på en lokal rätt för att prova de lokala köken.
Efter lunch tas du till Haller Park. Det här är inte ett zoo utan ett friland för djurreservat som föddes ur idén att bevara ett stort gammalt, stort före detta cementbrott. Det finns massor av djur att se och beroende på din spänning kommer detta att ta mellan 2 och tre timmar från där du kommer tillbaka till ditt hotell.
Dessa gigantiska aluminiumbettar längs Moi Avenue byggdes för att fira ett besök av prinsessan Margaret.

Excellent itinerary but flexible to what you want to do. Our guide Patrick was excellent. Company communication is excellent. Only thing to know is vehicles dont have good leg room and they dont have air-conditioning but ventilation from open roof. We had a very good time.

Tour was in guide's personal car. Bill, driver, was friendly and helpful. Car was small and A/C inadequate for wife's comfort. Young man Guide at Jesus Fort was knowledgeable and helpful. His Dad was a tourguide there 40 years. After this part of our tour, my wife was exhausted and very hot, so we asked Bill to return us to our cruise ship.
