Driver was stopped by police and our passports were taken. Driver had to follow police car to police station. He told us he would be inside for 10 minutes. In about 30 minutes came out with officers and put in police car and drove off. We had no idea what was happening but we were concerned since they had our passports. In about 45 minutes he returned and our passports were returned. He spent another hour on tour and we had asked to see several sites we were never never shown. From the time he was pulled over to our passports were returned was a couple hours out of tour which we expected him to make up but he did not. We feel that a partial amount of our fee should be returned. We did not pay to be setting in a car at the police station.
‼️ Dear customer, We would like to clarify that the delay during your journey was entirely caused by the fact that one of the passengers did not have their seatbelt fastened — which is a legal requirement. Because of this, the vehicle was stopped by the police, passports were temporarily taken, and our driver had to pay a €70 fine. We understand that this situation may have been uncomfortable for you. However, we must clearly state that this was not the fault of our driver or our company. The driver acted fully in accordance with the law and cooperated with the authorities exactly as expected — which is essential when operating within local regulations. We’re sorry that this incident disrupted part of your day, but we also believe it’s important that each traveler takes personal responsibility for following local rules, especially when it comes to safety. These regulations are not a formality — they protect lives. When they’re not followed, the consequences impact not only the individual but also the experience of others and the hard work of our team. Utilized this service for an early morning private transport from Basel to the Zurich airport. The driver arrived promptly and was extremely courteous. The ride was smooth and safe and we arrived at the airport exactly on schedule. The money spent was well worth the piece of mind of an easy hassle free transport.
