Denna stadsrundtur är en unik möjlighet att uppleva Colombos olika sidor med sitt mest karakteristiska fordon. Tuktuken kommer att gå direkt till Independence Square i hjärtat av huvudstaden varifrån du kommer att köra till Pettah, som passerar fortet Colombo. Det finns olika saker att besöka i detta område och ingenting är enklare än att observera det dagliga livet för dess invånare men också att upptäcka autentiska religiösa och kulturella platser. Det kan innebära öl på taken i Pettah för en flygupptäckt och introduktion till lokalt kaffe. Sri Lankan street food får inte missas, för att behandla smaklökarna hos de mest nyfikna! Turen kan anpassas efter dina egna önskemål och chauffören kan komma och hämta dig på ditt hotell och starta turen därifrån.

Vi hämtar dig på hotellet och vår chaufför välkomnar dig med blomstergirlanger och kungkokos som förfriskningar. Kör sedan mot Independence Square och gå till gallefronten där du får några lokala snacks (isso wade, kassavachips etc..) och gå direkt till Pettah där magin händer. Det finns mycket att observera. Under turen kan du smaka på kaffe och vi avslutar turen med en fantastisk utsikt medan vi njuter av en öl på taket.
Den röda moskén, uppkallad efter sina vackra färger. Det är en av de äldsta moskéerna (masjid) i Sri Lanksaa

We had a fantastic private Tuk Tuk tour. Our guide was extremely nice and knowledgeable about Sri Lankan history and all the places we visited, including some highlights off the beaten track. He used to work within hospitality and was used to talking with tourists so his English was very good. He also guided us to buy some local spices and gave us recipes so we could make some local dishes when coming back to Denmark. All in all highly recommendable.

Afternoon very fun by Colombo, we could see the most significant places in the city, we had a beer with incredible views and ended with a dinner in the Muslim neighborhood, thanks also to the driver who even took us to a typical pastry with spectacular cakes, to remember.
