Under ledning av Aurélien – en sommelier och före detta Engelska lärare med en tydlig och naturlig accent – sträcker sig denna upplevelse bortom en typisk marknadstur. Börja ditt äventyr i en charmig boutique där du provsmakar lokala specialiteter som Lillet och regionala delikatesser. Följ sedan din Guide genom Chartrons marknaden. Medan du tar in sevärdheter, dofter och berättelser, samlar din Guide ett handplockat urval av gourmetprodukter: ostron, rostad kyckling, ost, charkuterier och bakverk - det bästa av sydvästra Frankrike, i en korg. Därefter kliver du ombord på en privat båt för en 90 minuters kryssning på Garonnefloden. När staden driver förbi, njut av din marknadsfest tillsammans med lokala Bordeaux-viner. Din resa börjar vid basen av La Cité du Vin. Från denna perfekta utgångspunkt kommer du att upptäcka de dolda berättelserna och fascinerande arvet i Bordeaux historiska hamn, en gång den livliga porten som etablerade stadens globala vin rykte.
Efter vårt besök i en lokal specialbutik promenerar vi längs Chartrons charmiga kajer, där eleganta 1700-talsfasader avslöjar Bordeaux rika vinhandelsarv.
Vi kommer att utforska den livliga Chartrons farmarmarknaden som ligger längs floden Garonne, där lokala producenter visar Bordeaux finaste säsongsbetonade råvaror och regionala specialiteter.
Därefter går vi ombord på en lugn 90-minuterskryssning längs Garonne, där du kommer att njuta av de marknadsdelikatesser vi har samlat ihop med utvalda lokala viner medan du njuter av fantastisk utsikt över Bordeaux från vattnet.

Great experience! Tried many delicacies I never would have known about on my own. Aurelian was an entertaining and informative guide. Plenty to eat and the time on the boat was super chill enjoying the local treats.

Our experience was amazing! Aurelien, our guide was personable, passionate and very informative. We visited a shop specific to the foods of Bordeaux, which we enjoyed very much, and then strolled the Farmer's Market. Afterwards, we travelled the River and enjoyed a delicious variety of oysters and snacks procured by Aurelien from the farmer's market that day, but prior to our tour. It was very hot, and the market had closed earlier than expected which was a bit of a bummer for us as we wished to return to make some more purchases. But, there was time to purchase things while on the tour, and the fact it was so hot and the market closed early was no fault of Aurelien. My husband and I, and our two young adult children went on the tour, and we all enjoyed it very much! We would all highly recommend it!

Our tour was amazing. Aurelien was so friendly and fun! It was educational and enjoyable. We could go at a nice pace at the market, and learned some history of Bordeaux. The river cruise was very nice and the snacks, including the oysters-all from the market we visited, were delicious and “hit the spot”. A beautiful way to experience Bordeaux!

This is the second time I’ve been on an Aurelien visit, and it was another great experience! This time with the family, we discovered a lot of local products that we did not know, the visit to the market was great and we enjoyed a cruise on the Garonne where we tasted the products of the market! This was a great and varied Bordeaux experience for 9 of us for our mum’s 80th birthday. Aurélien was an exceptional host and has build a fantastic experience with this trip.
