The tour description says there will be an English tour guide. We had no such thing. There was a an English speaking "assistant driver". She was nice enough but clearly was unprepared and not the service we expected. I even reached out twice via Viator messaging and by contacting the vendor directly. Each time they confirmed we would have an English speaking guide. Very disappointed. Would not work with "My Bangkok Holiday Bangkok Tours". Very dishonest!

Our driver was very accommodative . He didnt understand english but used google translate to communicate

Save your money, this was poorly planned and not worth the cost! We waited in the lobby on the morning only for us to contact the company and they couldn’t find our booking. 45 minutes later we were sent someone. He didn’t know where we were going, didn’t give us any advice and didn’t speak English (as described on the advert). Once we showed him the itinerary on the advert he took us there, dropped us off. We could have saved over half the money by just ordering a cab between each temple. This just wasn’t worth the stress.

Suvanlee (Sue) was a great host. Very flexible with timings for what we wanted to do. It was great to have a local to do enquiries on our behalf. She also acted as our personal photographer at times. Very comfortable, air-conditioned car. She's knows her stuff.

This is a driver only and not a full tour guide, but I still feel like I learned so much from my driver, Su. Su was a great driver- the right amount of careful and decisiveness for Thai traffic. She has such a love for hospitality and her country. She was patient with an itinerary change to help me find pocket wifi during phone problems. When we drove around the city, she told me many interesting things that only someone who has lived somewhere all their life and that truly has pride in their home and a love of teaching guests about local culture would know. I highly recommend Su and her team to friends, family, and strangers. I hope our paths cross again!

Definitely a sub par experience. The description of the tour versus what was actually offered could not be any more different. The driver texted me a full 1.5 hours early to ask if we were ready but the tour started at 9 AM. He arrived early regardless, forcing us to hustle downstairs to the lobby. We got in and he had no idea what we wanted to do and showed us a laminated piece paper of different options despite the fact that we had bought a tour that featured 3 sites. No water was provided as mentioned in the tour. He complained that we wouldn't get to to the three locations as described in the tour without an overcharge. Such a turn off. He's spoke no English despite the description otherwise and it was frustrating at best to meet him after each site tour-- which was extra. don't waste your money.
It was definitely the best option, as we went at our pace and the driver also dropped us off and picked up practically at the door of any point of interest we decided to visit. Additional, it gave us quite a lot of information and important tips opens each place and also to the role of guide.

Sue our driver was an absolute gem. She was knowledgeable and extremely well organized. We were able to visit many places because of her expertise. She has a nice SUV also. Highly recommend.

I booked this for my family for their first time visiting Bangkok as i was not traveling with them. They came back with great review from the company, from the driver, communication, giving them informantion and aslo adjesting the tour to their their need. We booked this trip to see the Grand Palace only to find out that the Place closed at 3pm so we were not able to see the inside of the Palace. also our driver did not speak English so we had every difficult time communicating with her. it was so boring my husband fell asleep as we were driving to the Palace. I will never book through Viator again. This is the 3rd incident we have had within 2 weeks. I reache out before the driver pick us up. To let them know she had phoned us and could not speak English. What is a private tour if you are just riding and cannot communicate. She had to use her phone for the little communication we had. She appeared to be nice.

Regarding the visit to the Grand Palace, please kindly note that the palace’s opening hours are set by the management and are beyond our control. The Grand Palace normally closes at 3:30 PM (last admission around 3:00 PM). If the customer arrived close to or after the final admission time, entry inside the palace would unfortunately not be permitted by the authorities. Concerning the driver’s English proficiency, this service was arranged as a private transfer with driver only. Please note that drivers are responsible for transportation services and are not licensed tour guides. For detailed explanations and guided commentary inside the palace, a licensed English-speaking tour guide would need to be booked separately. We understand the customer’s disappointment; however, the transportation service was provided as confirmed. The driver picked up the customers as scheduled and completed the transfer. As mentioned, the driver was polite and used a translation application to assist with communication when necessary. For future bookings, if customers require full commentary and in-depth explanations, we would highly recommend reserving a private tour package with a licensed English-speaking guide to ensure a more interactive experience.
