Vårt första stopp kommer att vara det vackraste, det mest antika och det mest imponerande monumentet i världen. Akropolis. Härifrån kommer vi att föreställa oss livet i det antika Grekland och vi kommer att prata om livet för de människor som skapade kulturen
Vi besöker Panathenaic Stadium, där de olympiska spelen började. Panathenaic Stadium är ett klassiskt och kulturellt monument av Grekland och ett av de viktigaste monumenten inte bara för Aten utan för hela Grekland. Det är en av våra stads mest populära turistattraktioner och ett av Atenas landmärken.
Vi kommer till Constitution Square (Syntagma Square) i hjärtat av det moderna Aten. Vi tar bilder av Evzones. Namnet Evzones eller Evzonoi hänvisar till medlemmarna av presidentvakten, en ceremoniell enhet som bevakar det okända soldatens grekiska grav
Vi fortsätter att besöka den vackraste neoklassiska byggnaden i Europa. Akademins huvudbyggnad är ett av de stora landmärkena i Aten och en del av den så kallade Trilogy. Organisationen för Akademin i Aten, vars titel går tillbaka till det antika Akademin för Platon, grundades först den 18 mars 1926.
Vi kommer fram till Athens stadshus och Kotzia-torget, som ursprungligen kallades Ludovicos torg, för att hedra kung Othons far (Othon var den första Greklands kung).
Vi kommer att se Varvakio .... Varvakios Agora (Aten Central Market). Detta är bokstavligen Grand Central Station av mat. Gör inga misstag; alla butiker är här, från kändisskockar till livsmedelsbutiker i närheten

Wonderful and informative guide (Mercury). We would 100% do this again. Acropolis in the evening after cruise ships folks have left is the way to go! No huge crowds and a beautiful breeze and sunset.

We are a couple from Mexico and we were lucky enough to take this tour. The knowledge of the guide, Paris, is extraordinary. Not only in terms of culture, but also in ways of getting there earlier, avoiding crowds, and locating the best places where local people eat and drink. The same goes for the driver we had, Nicholas, who was indispensable in dealing with such a vibrant city full of people and cars. motorbikes and buses as is Athens. Athina the managing director was amazing at helping me plan the prefect private tour to see as many of the amazing sights of Athens in just one day. She communicated all options available and even customized the trip to meet some of my needs including airport transfer which I would highly recommend as it made our trip after a long flight an easy pleasant experience. The driver and vehicle who took us on the tour were prompt, professional and fun, our tour director for the day was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, fun and absolutely dedicated to making sure we had the best day ever. The private tour was so well organized that the day flew by and was simply amazing when I look back at all that we were able to see and experience and with no worries or stress to see all that we wanted to. We absolutely loved our tour! It was a great way to see all of the city highlights in a private, efficient way! Not only did we do the acropolis but we went by parliament, the Olympic stadium and then we ended the tour going through various markets such as the meat market, fish market and veggie market. Then we went to a market where they sell fresh spices and we had a light tasting/lunch. It was fabulous! It was the perfect amount of history entering without feeling like it was too much.
