Excellent trip! Loved the extras - the lemon slush and the limoncello as well as the photo stops. The pompei tour guide - Grace - was phenomenal! Perfect day!
AMAZING DAY TRIP!! 100% recommend - it is worth every penny. I took my two adult children with me and it was excellent from start to finish - the arrangements, the lovely air conditioned car, the special breakfast, best lemon granita stop, delicious lunch in a great restaurant right on the beach and effortless driving by the lovely Roberto. We all felt so looked after - it was effortless - Roberto was attentive but also relaxed and good company. Every detail was thought through. I honestly cannot fault anything! Perhaps the tour guide archaeologist at Pompeii seemed less good compared to Roberto - he was on his phone a lot and rushed us a little. But really the day was the highlight of our time in Rome. Don’t hesitate about the price it is that good!

Great experience! The minivan was so comfortable and had great a/c. This was SO much better than doing a bus tour, the faster driving and ability to handle small curves probably saves at least an hour of travel time. The guides were great. Pompeii was amazing. Sorrento was beautiful. Lunch and breakfast were both delicious. Highly recommend, especially for families, well worth the extra $ compared to the big group trips.

This was our family's first adventure in Italy, and we had been looking forward to visiting Pompeii for a long time. It truly was a dream come true! Despite the heat in July (I recommend being prepared if traveling during the summer), the experience is completely worth it. Our guide in Pompeii, Gino, was very kind, had a great sense of humor, and shared a lot of interesting information throughout the tour, which made it very entertaining. However, the one who really made the day even more special was our driver from Crown Tours, Yeshua. He was incredible. He was always attentive to everyone's needs, very kind, and also has a lot of talent for taking photographs. I speak English and Spanish, but I prefer to communicate in Spanish, so the fact that he could speak with us in our language made my family and me feel very comfortable throughout the trip. Yeshua also recommended a delicious cake at the place where we had breakfast and an excellent pasta dish at the restaurant in Sorrento. Both were delicious and made the experience even better. Overall, we had an amazing day and left with very nice memories. We are very grateful to the entire team at Crown Tours (also a special shout-out to the other driver, Bob!) for making our visit to Pompeii and Sorrento so special. Without a doubt, we recommend them!

This is a great intimate and semi private experience. My family and I enjoyed it very much. It was perfect from the moment we checked in and were greeted by our drivers Josh and Roberto “Bob” . The comfort of the transportation and cleanliness of the vehicles was on point, breakfast & lunch stops offered good food and local vibe not touristy at all which I really liked. The restaurants that were chosen had been scouted out by the manager to make the tour more of an Italian experience rather than going to a typical tourist trap like other tours do with larger groups. I especially loved the special attention at De Vivo, our breakfast stop.. We were greeted with smiles from I think the owner, as she helped us to our tables. The drivers/guides were excellent! Josh and Roberto, our drivers were very personable and checked on our group as we were eating, took our orders, offered bottles of water before going to Pompeii, and pointed out some points of interest as we drove along the coast. There were a few other things that Josh and Bob added to the experience but I do not want spoil the surprise as it is part of the experience. Once we got to Pompeii, we were greeted by Gino, our guide. Gino was so passionate about the history of Pompeii and you could see his love for Italy when he spoke. Highly recommend this tour as it is more than just a ‘tour” it is an experience! I really appreciate the efforts of the manager in finding the perfect locations for breakfast and lunch. It really added to the experience. if you are looking to see a bit of the coastline and do not have the luxury of staying there a few days or if you are looking to get out the city for the day, this would be an excellent choice!!
